Your social media experience is not the same as, well anyone elses. Your feed is structured in a way to reinforce stuff that you already engage with, so just because you’re not seeing it doesn’t mean it’s not there (or even overwhelmingly there).

Now playing

Takes about 30 seconds from where I marked it, but that’s what makes it so beautiful.

3: killing by random, unforeseeable traps (and the like)

IMO singleplayer (and coop) games embracing:

If there’s one thing SEGA excels at, it’s sabotaging their own mascot.

If there is one consistent quality to sega it is their inability to learn from repeated mistakes.

Sonic Mania was all sonic fan service and it was super well received and the message they got from that is, we can make menu animation DLC. Yup.

I’m an aviation enthusiast; I actually enjoy flying. Though flying commercial sucks. They totally suck all the fun out of it.
Still, respect to the crews and employees of airlines. I don’t envy that job.

Thanks heavens she came around. What a weird and wonderful show, only made better by Rosie Perez.

Anybody else feel the price is at least $10 - $15 more than it should be?

This appears to be a new (Dragonflight-only?) feature where you can fly from the moment you arrive, but not on a traditional mount, but one where the mount levels up, gets customized, is affected by gravity, etc. So it’s going to be a much more interactive experience than the magical hovering flying mounts we have now.

I mean, it’s been a while since I quit playing, but could you not always fly on dragons since TBC? Pretty sure I had a few dragon mounts...

I hate the general feeling that game sequels are getting exponentially farther apart unless they’re beating the IP to death with yearly releases. I loved Metroid Dread but it was hard to shake the feeling of “this took 20 years and I’m 44, I really might not live to play the next one”

portal 2 didn’t go much further than portal 1 mechanically. the physics gels weren’t revolutionary or anything. going through the phsyical history of aperture was neat, but that’s narrative

It would be cool if they made something new then. They don’t need to make Portal 3, or even Half Life 3. But an interesting new game would be great to see.

Appreciate the direct shoutout to Gabe. His focus on hardware is a frustrating departure when his teams lead the way in narratively driven games for so long. All we get from him is bizarre bare footed interviews from his mansion in New Zealand or whatever.

GabeN, let your troops make another game before they’re in

Do a search for Fassi F185. I’m a retired firefighter with some past experience in Europe. Vehicle extrication, structural collapse are examples of how this would be used in fire service. Tactics and vehicles are different in Europe.

Both didn’t set the handbrake AND didn’t leave the car in gear. Double fail.

I’m guessing it’ll be treated like sale space for IRL billboards and newspaper ads.
