Get it running and safe. Stop the rust then just clear coat it and make the interior usable. Bam! Great Cars and Coffee fodder.

The current Ranger is a bit longer than the old extended cab. But it’s monstrous compared to the old single cab short bed.
F150s are outselling Rangers because Ford is foolish with pricing them so close together. There was a time when the price gap for a F150 and a Ranger is big enough to make you choose wisely. Now, it’s the “more bang for your buck” option.
My other problem with modern trucks in general, and every manufacturer is guilty…
This right here.
If it can actually fit in my garage and carry a couple dirtbikes or mountain bikes and preferably get close to 30mpg it would work great as a DD for me.
Back in the 1980's our local dodge dealer sold tons of Dodge D50's (Mitsubishi clone) Best little truck I ever had and there are still several running around here in the foothills of the Sierra.
This would be an industry game changer for Ford if they can have this in North America. Too many people, myself included, are yearning for the days of true compact pickups, like the first gen Tacomas and last gen Rangers. They are great trucks and would serve 90% of truck owners well. Most of you bitching aren’t about that life with grease under your fingernails and gasoline in your veins. You’re desk jockeys who write…
Daniel Stern is THE man. He fabbed up a full main and high beam harness for my 89 Land Cruiser with majorly upgraded Hella lenses and upgraded Halogens. Before and after performance was staggering—before it was like driving down the road with 2 candles and after even on low beams I could see forever.
And once again, the internet ignores the expert and makes its own opinion.
I wouldn’t take Stern’s word for much.
How do you put out a postal truck fire?
Where are the RX-7s?
Good job not adding them! I’m serious. You know what else they hide? Small parts that you accidentally drop.
Those are usually to help hide imperfections in the floor. I didn’t add them.
Perfect. It's a bit high, but it's a nice truck.
