LEDs don’t need much voltage to work. I see 1/2 volt being supplied. You could hack a replacement together I would think.
Nothing wrong with buying something at the right price from CarMax. Just don’t be stoopid about it.
Mr. Murphy bit my ass yesterday. The trucks power steering went out at the end of a 3 hour drive home. It somehow affected the battery charging as well. But you know what, I still made it home without stopping. Even when it fails, it keeps limping along. The failure was not a surprise, I have the parts ready to fix it…
I have a basic work truck I bought used in 2012. 2007 Ford F150 XL. Cloth seats, stereo radio, no cd player, manual windows, 5 speed, no power anything, vinyl floor, 4.2L V6, AC, 6ft bed and liner, suicide doors for the rear cab but no rear seats. Couldn’t be happier. Has been totally reliable for 8 years. Did some…
Back then there was no such thing as a compact American car. That is what we called anything from Japan or Europe.
True, the aftermarket supplied the one in Europe. My bad.
As scrap steel alone it would probably garner about $600.00 at a junkyard. So it was well sold and well bought in my book.
You are wrong, in Japan and Europe there was a turbo option.
I have a 1980 RX7 and it is bullet proof!
I’ve been trying too Patrick but he won’t listen. I think it’s the rust in his ears.
I’m the same age and I don’t look like I’m in my eighties. My dad is 92 and he looks better than Clarkson. Diet I suppose but mines not the best either.
Charlotte NC and Atlanta GA have a lot of great meets with some of the same amount of variety. It’s not just an LA thing. Loved the beetle!
NASCAR beginnings running shine and the cars the used for it.
You can fill the urea if you drink enough beer while wheeling. Just sayin.
When I first saw these pics I was thinking Blue Ridge Parkway. Love the eastern mountains in the fall. Great pics!
Have you driven an SA? You might change your mind.
Thank you for the rotary love today. We appreciate it so much.
Neighbor and his buddies are huge Corvette fan boys and we were just discussing this. They estimates used C7s will be had for +30K in 2020 and C6s will be way cheaper. My neighbor is planning to trade his C6 in for a 2021 Corvette when they show up. Figures he doesn’t want a 1st year model.
I bought one new in 1989. I test drove it in 10 inches of new snow. The dealer had to uncover it, de-ice it, and charge the battery just so I could test it out. I expected it to last all of 3 years commuting 30+ miles each way everyday in Pittsburgh. Well, it lasted until 1999, when the shock towers and rear axle…
