Yup, that’s the problem. I’ve had a 3DS since launch and am not willing to re-purchase for Earthbound and a couple other games (since I rarely use the 3DS as-is). The DS version would be ideal, but I’ll settle for the Switch one, if it comes.

This is false. The GameCube was roughly as powerful as the Xbox, and more powerful than the PS2. If you ever played Resident Evil 4 on both GameCube and PS2, this fact would be self-evident.

Hey, I’m eagerly awaiting replaying Earthbound (hopefully) on the Switch (don’t have a WiiU, and Nintendo refused to release it for my Wii or 3DS), so I agree with you. With that being said, there’s no reason not to have the best possible graphics if you can. Kind of like how I’ll watch a movie on DVD if I have to,

Unless the Switch is super powerful, because the ‘Nintendo is doomed’ crowd only seems to think that power matters, I expect every sort of armchair developer and sales monkey to only increase their cries about how this will be Nintendo’s last system, which people have been crowing about from the time that Nintendo

Why would you hope that??

Full digital backwards compatibility is what I’m hoping for. It is pretty much what will make the Switch a launch day purchase or not for me.

Question: if you are CW/WB, and you’re producing a DC comics superhero show for the CW, why would you *not* make it part of the Arrowverse?

Chopper?

Frankly, they need one because their excellent A team games never sell well enough.

Platinum has an A team and Z team, most of their “let’s shit this out to make money” is the Z team.

wow.

The last time they did a mega man 2 iOS port, it was also hot garbage. Mighty hot garbage. Mighty ios number 9 garbage, you might say.

Hey Mike, I did a little bit of digging and I think I found why these are complete shit.

I personally hate touch controls that aren’t tap based, virtual “joysticks” suck.

Who would have thought difficult games designed around controller input would suck to play on a mobile touch screen.

KOTOR worked because you can pause and plan out your moves. Almost any game that pauses frequently or is turn based works well on iOS. Mega Man does not work well. Also, if you need a controller why in the heck are you playing on iOS? Get a 3DS or Vita...

Final Fantasy Tactics mobile port is good.

Not always. The rockstar game ports are nice and support controllers.
