While not the final word in sports sedans when pitted against its S4 and M3 contemporaries, the S60R is a great car simply because it shouldn’t exist. A 300HP, AWD, active suspension, manual sedan is not something you’d expect from Volvo. And oh that inline-5 wail.

I wasn’t going to even bother reading about this vaporware, but had to click so I could state that fact.

I wish car makers would also show base or mid level trims in their press photos. It’s always disappointing when you realize that their press car is so loaded with options that it eclipses the base price of the next model up in the rung. Every time I see the interior shots combined with the “base price” figures in the

Real people. Not actors.

This is the equivalent of fast food chain saying “look! we’ve made a burger without e.coli! it’s possible, but we just did it once for fun. feel free to continue purchasing tainted meat from us however, because that’s all we’re ever going to offer.”

I mean, honestly this trim doesn’t look too bad. It’s got a strange XK feel to it. Might even be more reliable.

I bet it’ll cycle back and forth as a design trend, the same way watch faces went digital, then back to analog, then back to digital with smart watches. I’m with you though, there’s way more craftsmanship in a traditional cluster vs a full lcd/led one.

I never use my emergency brake handle in any aggressive driving, but I have to say, the moment you mentioned “electronically-activated”, my heart sunk a little. I’ll soon miss that handle the same way I miss actual throttle cables and mechanical clutches.

Any estimate on the price of the test car you had and what options were included?

I think I figured out this weird painting thing recently, after looking at a ‘16 Accord Sport up close.

These youths who don’t know what the third pedal is for? Who would trade driving feedback for CarPlay? Who purchase solely based on Instagram hype meters? Just put a Disneyland driving guide rail underneath the center of these cars and slap on a Wifi Hotspot and wireless charging and they won’t know the difference.

I think going the Rapide route might’ve actually yielded something more convincing

I’ve noticed this type of headlight with a lot of kit and niche supercar makers- is it just cheaper to use pod projectors (let’s say out of another already approved oe housing) instead of certifying an entire new and unique and conventional headlight housing (lens over reflector or projector/led)?

I never understood why it was so hard for them to actually produce these vehicles and start generating actual revenue. Aren’t these technically registered as motorcycles or quadricycles and therefor exempt from most of the expensive r&d/certification for safety requirements of cars and trucks? it seems like there

I only saw 3-4 cars involved? was there moreno to the video?

I got really excited at 0:16 when I heard a V8, but then really sad when I realized it was another car in the background.

they sell inserts all over amazon!

This applies to to many things about the states and some of its people.

Immediately followed by a press release: “Infiniti is excited to introduce the ‘First Ever!’ Qx265b Active Lifestyle Utility Vehicle with Apple Carplay and a ‘sleek’ exterior wrapped around a Turbocharged 1.1 liter mated to a CVT.”

after watching the video and hearing her speak, of course she would sue. #americaftl she would probably sue the people she would’ve run over had she been at ground level.
