Shut up. “Why would someone wave the white flag and buy one of these” is fucking bullshit. Not everybody is looking for a performance vehicle. They want a car that helps them live their life and small/medium crossovers are immensely practical for a large majority of people. Before these folks were buying RAV4s and

The QX55 is a “coupe” version of the QX50 intended to chase after the X4, GLC Coupe and Q5 Sportback.

Unless the fake C-pillar quarter window on the CT5 somehow magically turns into a real one when viewed in person, I dunno about that... 😜

Careful now, you’re sounding like this guy:

I for one still hate the fuck out of those pillars.

I don’t believe there ever was a production 200 hp version of the KA24, even in Japan. If anything it was a one-off for this prototype.

Supposedly they may be getting some of their mojo back. The few times I’ve driven an F-chassis car, I was disappointed. The lack of steering feel was pretty obvious. I haven’t driven the newer stuff on the CLAR platform, but the reviews at least seem more positive.

Not an M car, but here is my recently departed 335xi M Sport.

The 2 series is on the older shrunken-down F30 3-series platform while the Supra and Z4 are on BMW’s newer CLAR platform. Powertrain is the same yes but not exactly the same car overall.

I just bought a 2020 Civic Si sedan because it is a practical comfy modern regular-ass car with technology including active cruise control, Android Auto & adaptive shocks, but it’s still a stick shift and plenty of fun to drive. But I also appreciate that it’s not at all trying to be a luxury car, and was priced as

The only thing I think of when I read or hear Encino is the amazing 90s comedy Encino Man starring Brendan Fraser, Sean Astin & Pauly Shore.

I’m replying to this comment to hopefully push it up higher. Overall I think the design is fairly successful, apparently unlike many others here, but the grille is just *too* big and blocky. It seems like Nissan is attached to it as a deliberate callback to previous versions but your design works much better for me.

If only they had stuck with the tried & true...

I largely stopped watching football a couple years ago because my local team is the Washington Footybaw Team, and all the other bullshit around the NFL, of course.

You can disagree but that doesn’t mean I have to agree. Some people like ugly things.

To each their own but it never worked for me. I’m seriously considering buying a Stinger soon, and I’ve tried a G70 as well, but I can’t get over the G70 styling. I don’t buy cars that I have to convince myself are less ugly than I perceive them to be.

Unfortunately, unless we the people manage to throw Kushner’s ass in jail, his hundreds of millions of dollars will likely provide him some degree of comfort.

I would say this isn’t so much a gorgeous car in and of itself as it fixes most of the annoying ugly traits of its predecessor.

Growing up Jewish, I was always perplexed when every spring, McDonald’s heavily featured the fillet o’fish in their TV commercials. I was like, uhhh, Mickey D’s, why you featuring the nastiest thing on your menu? Nobody’s coming in for that garbage. Stick to Big Macs & Happy Meals. It was only when I ended up in

Parents gotta pay for that private school tuition somehow. Now that he’s rolling in that sweet, sweet defamation settlement money from WaPo & CNN he can get Invisalign while he works for Mitch McConnell. What a pair.
