I know there’s a good chance of it being the flu, and I’ve had the flu before. Like I originally said, I’m not jumping to any conclusions, but I’m interested in getting an antibody test just for confirmation.

UGH.
I’m not over complicating, I’m describing what actually needs to happen to implement your incomplete hypothetical idea in the real world. You can’t just hand-wave away the real world steps. You’ve got nice handy hypothetical incomplete hand-wavey solutions that won’t solve anything. Your thinking like this is…
Adding delivery is not as simple as hiring a driver and taking orders over the phone. Customers are used to ordering online.
I will admit, I’ve had this thought myself, except with a different conclusion: that I should get an antibody test.
Spare me your free market rules all rhetorical nonsense. Many restaurants lack the resources to run their own drivers, so that option only exists in theory and is not truly feasible for them. Ideas like yours don’t work when confronted with reality. Go back to reading Atlas Shrugged.
Totally agree with you. I was summarizing, and I’m not a public health expert, just a guy who tries to stay informed.
Nope, they’re all terrible for the restaurants, but unless restaurants want to have their own delivery drivers they’re the only game(s) in town. I’m in the very dense close-in suburbs of DC and my neighborhood is right in the middle of tons of restaurants. Before the outbreak, I basically never used the delivery…
Think of it like how gas stations charge more if you pay with credit vs cash. It costs the gas stations a transaction fee to process the card so they incentivize customers to pay cash. Customer gets a lower price, gas station avoids the fee, everybody except the credit card company wins.
I tried to find a suitably conservative news outlet’s coverage of this threat against doctors. So here’s an article from the Washington Times:
The only way it is feasible to send people out in public is to have the following in place:
I love Star Trek, hate Trump, and am somewhat frustrated by Discovery & Picard...
Out of curiosity, are you in a red state? And what do you mean by “just a blip”?
Pointing out that this known fuckwit is once again acting like a fuckwit is leftist? Bitch, please.
*Mitch McConnell, fucking autocorrect 🤬
I’m hoping and praying the Democrats somehow manage to run the table in November and flip both the WH and senate. Not that the party is perfect by any means, but they're actually trying to, you know, solve things. Unlike the other party that's more interested in deconstructing government, and look at the giant…
My brother in law is a Delta FA. Going to check with him on this and see what I can find out.
You mean like Criswell sticking their badges in the middle of fucking tailgates?
I’ve already experienced this. Random friends of friends have been barfing up a toxic stew of Fox News talking points about getting people back to work ASAP (“the cure can’t be worse than the disease!”); claiming that Trump is actually handling this competently while expressing that the federal government never does…
Uhhh I don’t have a full ratings list but Quantum is not good. I remember being so disappointed in it the very first time I saw it in the theater. The opening sequence was a good follow-on from Casino Royale...and then it went completely into every single piece of cliche Bond nonsense. Unless of course that’s why…
