All the water around Charleston is precisely why it’s a terrible example to use when generalizing about American cities in general. 

Because the sloping rooflines of SHITs (Swoopy Hatchbacktified crossovers for Image-conscious Trash) are more aesthetically pleasing to the people who buy them than practical normal 3-box CUV rooflines.

The BMW N54 HPFP is failure-prone but not super expensive to replace. Remanufactured part is around $350ish or so and the labor’s not too bad.
