You’re right, somehow along the way when trying to read the specs on the Fossil site I thought I saw 1 GB RAM on the Sport but it’s on the Gen 5.

The specs for the Sport list 1 GB of RAM. The other older Fossil smartwatches with the 2100 have 512 MB RAM.

I assume Fossil would need to add those battery modes to the Sport through a software update. I don’t know if/when such an update is coming.

So...I’ll answer my own question!

What are the differences between this and the Fossil Sport that also has the 3100?

The main difference between a good fwd with LSD and other drivetrain layouts is the driving style for turns. Fwd + LSD your best move is to trail brake to load up the front tires and help turn-in, get the car pointed the right way into the turn, then feed in gas to power out of the turn. The diff *should* send power

See, exactly! 🧐 Built to lease, not to keep long term. It’s not AMG Benz level repair costs but there are many common things that break and are 4-figure “wear items” that crop up if you hold on to the thing. Like...high pressure fuel pumps. Got me a fresh one of those a while back just like every other N54 & N55.

My 335xi hasn’t had much go wrong lately because I already fixed most of the common things that go wrong with them. So while I could hold on to it and probably be fine for a while, it's still rolling the dice.

I’m in the Maryland burbs of DC and wish Japanese Classics was here, but they’re actually in Richmond, VA.

I had a 135is DCT and I’m selling my modded E92 335xi 6MT. I’ve enjoyed driving them but they’re also a pain in the ass. The depreciation, lack of reliability, difficulty of repair, and parts costs are what pushed me away. They truly are built to be leased.

I’m in the process of selling the second and most likely final BMW that I’ve owned. For many reasons, including this.

I live in the DC area. Traffic here is garbage, and Google Maps or Waze is far superior to any car’s built-in navigation. I have an Android phone expect a modern car to be able to put Google Maps or Waze from my phone on its main dashboard screen. This is not some wild crazy thing to want from a performance-oriented

I suppose that’s possible, but they’re not exactly the types to deep dive into settings and twiddle things. I often see them doing something with their phones that’s the long, roundabout way of getting there and point out an easier way of accomplishing that thing.

My wife’s 2018 Mazda CX-5 is surprisingly quiet for a sporty-ish mainstream brand car.

Sounds like at least with regard to the safety nannies that this car was a dud.

The Supra has BMW’s M Sport Differential that’s available on the G20 3-series and Z4. It’s an eLSD. I wonder if it’s doing something like locking up 50/50 on a hard launch which is causing a lot of wheelspin in 1st gear on a wet dragstrip.

Presumably even though Sprint’s network is crap, enough of it overlaps with gaps in T-Mobile’s network to provide better coverage and capacity when combining the two.

Good catch.

I’m actually a Consumer Cellular (yes, the thing for old people) customer using T-Mobile’s network. I’ll spare you the long explanation but the factors that led me here were price, customer service, network features, and coverage. The one thing that I really like about T-Mobile, and the various MVNOs that use their
