As DC native who went to the University of Wisconsin, stuck around in Madison for 18 years after that, and then moved back to DC, I can say that the Midwest, as a place, is Good™. You my good sir need to expand your horizons.

There’s no Civic Si hatchback because the Si is unique to North America and built in Honda’s factory in Allston, Ontario, which builds Civic sedans and coupes. All Civic hatchbacks are built in Swindon, England. Making an Si hatchback would require getting all the Si-specific bits over to England.

My wife once bought me a Skins hoodie so I could rep my hometown while living in Madison, WI. Except I never wore the thing. I wanted to spare her the rant about why the team is awful so instead when she asked me why I didn’t open it more often, I said the neck hole was too small. It also ended up at Goodwill.
