I live and work in two different parts of the DC suburbs. My commute in the morning is tolerable but my drive home can easily take 75-90 minutes to go 15 miles.

Also for on-road driving, Toyota cheaped out on the 5th gen’s transfer case. The 4th gen, all trims came with the Torsen center differential for an awd/full-time 4wd mode. But on the 5th gen it’s only on the Limited. The Dunlop AT20 tires that come stock are absolute shit in the snow too.

Toyota cost cutting at its finest: the OE Dunlop Grandtrek AT20 tires are horrendously bad in the snow, and the Limited is the only trim that comes with the Torsen center differential that used to be standard on all 4th gen trims.
