As far as I know that motor is already in the JDM STI as well. In theory it would be easier to get that certified for Euro emissions standards, but Subaru may not want to bother with it until the next generation of WRX/STI comes around.

First off, Audi won’t sell you a stick shift S3 or S4.
I was not charmed by this man when he first showed up and his reduced hair count only makes him more irritating.
Comparing the Camaro SS trims to the Mustang GT PP1 trims, yes, it’s a couple grand cheaper across the board. The main pieces of the Mustang PP1 are a stiffer suspension, Brembo brakes, upgraded cooling, and a 3.73:1 limited slip diff. All of which are standard Camaro SS equipment.
I’m talking about convertibles. Their lap times at VIR or any other track aren’t exactly their #1 selling point, and there’s no Camaro 1LE convertible. My point is the Performance Pack 1 on the Mustang brings it up to parity with the standard Camaro SS.
I’m not sure this is entirely brand new but I played around with the configurator and you can now get the Performance Pack 1 on the GT convertible, which wasn’t always the case.
Hey, I live in Madison, and we consistently vote against all those assholes. Must be because our city is *only* 84% white.
I’m not a supertaster. I like beer. I even like beer that tastes like stuff and not just Budweiser. I don’t particularly enjoy hoppy beer, or beer snots like this:
Mr. Tickles’ twitter account sure does like Friskies cat food.
I’m a Jew married to a Catholic and every time I go to Christmas mass with her family (it’s not like I have some excuse to avoid it other than I would rather be eating Chinese food and watching a movie) I feel like I’m going to burst into flames when it’s time for communion, which I of course stay seated for.
Can we create a campaign to remove “here’s how” from the list of acceptable ways to start a headline?
I also hate this hump on all awd Lexuses.
It doesn’t necessarily need a dual clutch transmission, but at least a properly calibrated torque converter auto like the ZF 8-speed in most BMWs and plenty of other premium cars.
Not sure exactly. The service advisor mentioned that my car got a whole new airbag module including cover, while some other cars get only a new explosive charge or some other component within the airbag itself. Depends on the car.
So you’re saying the bright neon yellow multi-piston brake calipers with drilled rotors aren’t the upgraded brakes? Because at least in the US, the WRX STI website lists the Brembo brakes as standard on the STI.
Dammit, last week I finally got the Takata airbag replaced in my 2011 335i xDrive and now this? The dealer left transparent blue tape on the BMW logo on the new airbag module, I guess to show me that it was in fact new. I pulled it off right after taking this picture, which I assume they wanted me to do. Unless...the…
I didn’t create this meme but it is applicable.
