All I could think about when I read “consensual telepathy” was the VR not-actually-sex scene from Demolition Man.
At home, with the charger. This isn’t my “carry all my camera stuff with me” bag. Basically I wanted to bring a real camera with me more often instead of taking so many pictures with my phone, so I came up with this as something to carry in my work bag or bring other places where I can grab it on the fly.
But is it better or worse than this VW Atlas commercial about fucking?
Sure seems like a case of undiagnosed mental illness.
In practice it ends out working well. I only fly a few times a year pretty much always on either Southwest or Delta. Not because I particularly like Delta but they cover the routes I fly.
Speaking from experience, Delta and American’s ridiculous number of boarding zones, which are all based on things like first class or frequent flier status, completely override any semblance of back-to-front boarding. They are horrendous to board and they start their boarding 45 minutes before departure to account for…
Hey thanks for sharing my bag! One thing though, I mentioned that cable in my post because I needed it to update my firmware to support the FlashAir SD card. But I don’t carry it with me in this little pouch.
Whether the Demon should or shouldn’t exist isn’t the point though.
The entire point of my post was that the Nissan Rogue is the best selling vehicle that is not a pickup in the US in 2017. The implication being that the Nissan Rogue is a thoroughly mediocre vehicle and it is surprising to see it outsell literally every other vehicle that is not a pickup.
The cheapest BMW 7-series in the US is the 740i which starts at $83,100 and can quickly shoot up from there. So a good bit more than $20,000 in savings with the G80 depending on equipment. Even this almost loaded test car is $27,430 less than the base 740i. The 740i has “only” 322 hp but it still is above-average…
My point is not that pickups are perpetually at the top of the list. They always are. It’s that crossovers, which are still relatively efficient, not-huge vehicles, are kicking regular cars’ ass. The only difference between stuff like the Rogue, CR-V, RAV4 vs. the Civic, Camry, Corolla is the ride height, availability…
Fun fact: so far in 2017, the Nissan Rogue is the best selling vehicle in the US that’s not a pickup.
Admit it Raph: you hipster sepia-toned these photos to make it look more brown because wagons are supposed to be brown. I can tell, because of the pixels (and this other gallery).
I had a BMW monostable for 3 years and it was mostly fine. I just thought it was finicky. It’s a fiddly little joystick with a small button on the side vs. a larger stick with firmer detents and a larger button. But it was mostly a non-issue. Personally, the frequency that I exit a car with the engine running is…
In a regular automatic shifter, you can tell by feel and looking what gear it’s in at all times. In a monostable shifter, the clicks are usually much less physically noticeable than the older style that moves into a specific position for each gear.
