Butt dyno” ranks high on my list.I can tell you man! When I removed the crappy CDV in the bimmer and went for a short shifter it’s like it gained 20hp on the ol’ butt dyno!”

The exception being the S30 chassis, where the chassis code isn’t as accurate as the model names 240Z, 260Z and 280Z.

I too ease on the throttle next to the “graveyard wall”, I’d still like a runoff there to explore my cars limit in a safe environment, which is the whole point of trackdays.

Too bad the marketing department couldn’t come up with an other name here, that will hurt their sales. E-tron means T-urd in French.

Have you ever done a track day? I regularly do them at my local track, and have been glad to end up in the gravel instead of a wall a few times. I almost ate a wall once on a chicane and nearly shat myself. I’d love to see gravel there instead of the “graveyard wall” as we call it.

Shit happens, you can’t be 100% in

Hold on, so you are saying that tracks aren’t becoming safer thanks to safety measures because people drive harder when it’s safer? The trend in F1 fatality over the years would like to have a word with you

I was going to say this. The coupe is prettier but they made the best with what they had and the 2+2 isn’t bad looking.

During a technical conversation with a collegue of mine:

As it’s often the case, Citroën is doing it already.

Damn you Orlove. I’m struggling not to buy one a you go and right such articles. They are really cheap in France and you make a compelling case. Plus my grampa had one. Again, damn you.

I know that, which, by the way, is a strong case for a healthy public service funded by higher taxes.

That’s how the world is, I just meant that’s not how it should be. Why chase a million buck a year? I earn about 50k$/year (in France so it may not translate well to the US with our tax system) and I’m happy as a clam. I have 2 cools cars, I take vacations, eat well, rent a cool place. The only reason I’m not a home

A few caveats:

The S54 is related to the M54, which has some flaws (DINA valve, VANOS seals) but is generally reliable. The biggest issue with S54s is owners not letting it warm up properly (the oil grade is kinda weird). Also, you have to swap the rob bearings every 60k miles.

You have 2 ways to go about creating a company:

Nah, I’ve deduced this from personal observation and deep love for sarcasm.

Huh, I knew about that but never made the connection. They indeed have skulls on them. I guess it’s time for some good ol’ introspection and honest soul searching. I’ve been told Americans are good at it.

No skull though

There are many other French cities with pedestrian only areas. This redirects traffic around the city on bigger roads that are designed for this, and where I like you have some dedicated free parking outside of the center where parking is free if you buy a metro ticket to go to the city center. That’s works pretty

Waiters treat everyone like shit, French people included. Don’t take offense, it’s a proud tradition.
