There’s actually a lot of “woke” white people in Texas. Houston elected an openly gay mayor, then re-elected her twice. Dallas has had an Hispanic lesbian as sheriff for 15 years or so. And our new police chief is a black woman.

That’s kind of you, but there’s lots of us in Dallas that love Dale and would put him up. He ain’t goin’ nowhere.

You want to talk about a “misguided sense of moral superiority?” Talk to the author of the memo. This is mansplaining taken to an extreme. Do you really think the author listens to his female colleagues, or does he dismiss their comments as invalid because he thinks they’re based on feelings, not facts?
