It was! And it was only $10. I loved those alternative rock days when grunge was fading and all the labels were looking for the next big thing and just throwing stuff against the wall. It was a good few years before Nu Metal came along.

It was actually K-Rockathon with Butthole Surfers, Reverend Horton Heat, Toadies, and some other bands who disappeared without a trace.

I don't have any of her stuff (but I have a feeling I will soon…), but several friends did. I heard it a lot, and I'm curious how much I would remember when I hear next time.

That's a shame. I saw her, I think it was 1996, opening for someone and she and her band was really good.

It's the first Metallica I ever heard, and still one of my favorites. I got it from Columbia House the summer before they absolutely went huge, and I listened to it nonstop.

My dad and mom were born in '53 and '54, respectively, and I am astounded that they don't see it. I was born in '76 and I'm still afraid of the Cold War.

Season of the Witch was the first one I'd ever seen when I was a kid. It has flaws, but at least it tries for something, and it's crazy weird.
