Well-reasoned? It’s conspiracy theory.

Or... things happened exactly as they said they did. Which is the most likely and which is the least likely explanation? If American boats were attacked in international waters, you don’t think every U.S. force in the area would have responded? You think your own government invents false narratives and swears soldiers

If a foreign navy entered American waters, especially from a country that is not all that friendly, wouldn’t the natural reaction to be to detain the vessel if possible? Not sure I see what you’re saying. The Iranians seemed to act pretty friendly considering we’re not exactly allies. No one was hurt, and nothing was

I admire your courage and thank you for your service. Respectfully I’d like to point out that the Code of Conduct was developed after the Korean War and intended to set standards for behavior with regards to becoming/being a prisoner of war. We’re not at war with Iran and those boats were somewhere they’re not

I would imagine a lot of it gets filmed and/or photographed, actually. For liability purposes alone.

You would sail into Iranian waters and start gunning down their coast guardsmen? And this is not an act of war how?

As has been pointed out by many others in another thread, this isn’t humiliating, this is a normal police action involving armed men in territorial waters.

Common sense does prevail if we allow it to.

You are wrong. So wrong. If you had “busted nav equip” then how could you justify shooting at another country’s navy? You don’t know where you are! You’re being told you’re in Iranian water.

More like detained. Captured would imply they were held prisoner.

Iran’s actions are pretty normal. We accidentally violated their waters. They seize our ships, thinking we were spying on them (Remember, we are not buddies with them). They investigate and realize it was “unintentional” and release our guys.

Genltlemen, you do realize the last time Iran had sailors captured, they paraded them around and it took two weeks to get them back, right? This was a timely and orderly return of our men from a nation we view as hostile to most of, if not all our resolutions for the middle east. I know you’ll blame obama for not

Wow. A military confrontation involving an enemy nation resulting from a mistake has been resolved without violence, but with respect and professionalism. Bravo people. Bravo.

If you accidentally wander onto someone’s private property and shoot them, even in self defense, you’re going to prison. It’s pretty much the same type of thing. You can’t wander into another countries territory and then go shooting at them to keep them from asking you, “hey, what the fuck, guys?!”

Why would they shoot? If they did accidentally end up in Iranian territorial waters, shooting would be an act of war. They would not have been authorized to make that decision on their own.

This BBC article makes more sense of the whole situation:

Just a banana in the morning is fine.

Since OPM took off the fanboys have been foaming at the mouth. “He can’t beat Goku!” He can’t Beat Superman!” “If Batman had enough time to plan!”

No. Saitama would one shot them all. That’s the very definition of his power. He can one shot anything (Held back in the Boros fight).

Exactly. He wouldn’t win because he is a Kryptonian, or a Super Saiyan, or the worlds strongest/smartest man. He would win because he is a walking plot device that was created solely to win.
