“They always rode horribly”
Anthony,
I was a young kid at the time and was completely baffled and incredulous that such a campaign was a serious effort out of Detroit. Now, in hindsight, it just seems par for the course. In future, people might make fun of our current marketing drivel; eco diesel, auto pilot, etc.
“they also have an exceptionally large number of new options which don’t require them explain themselves in order to eat”
Hahaha! I have been known to clear out cars.
Any other proving ground guys out here that can corroborate this?
“I don’t think anyone is really arguing that the Plymouth Volaré wasn’t a towering pantload of crap. Nobody misses the egg-sliding-on-a-frying-pan handling, the bulky yet anemic"
Hahaha!
Sure, those events create real cash flow. However, that’s not the same as creating wealth. The Mob creates cash flow too. But, just like stick and ball sports, we don’t really need them and they’re a parasitic, unnecessary economic loss.
I hope this holds true for stick and ball "sports" as well.

You are ignotant of physics. You’re too acceptance of tree hugging movements. No cars will fly sooon.
In the 3rd world, this is quite frequenty the case. Size constraints are really the norm. It's kind like with cats. If it fits, it sits. Damn density!
For me, it was the ergonomics. Plenty of legroom but without telescoping steering wheel, for anyone over 5'7" or so, you have to drive all scrunched up or adapt church pew seating. It felt like so many Asian cars from which I lways stay away.
Yes, you do. And, if Toyota make all their vans hybrid, chances are, the battery will also live where the stowngo space formerly lived.
“An important aspect of any car with aggressive intentions is just how the ponies meet the pavement”
All OPEC countries cheat! Bring Mejico in! Were going to have a glut the likes we've never seen. I feel bad for Permian guys.
I’m good.
Bradley, I’m getting in late on this while catching up over the week’s posts.
Reverse: Pft! Did anyone here see Monday’s episode of “The Plot Against america?” Great fictional take on old Hank (based on actual events).
