I too had this happen. Have had PS4 controller that came with the console, and no problem after years of use. Then I brought a legit controller from my local electronics shop for my PC setup few months ago and the controller had this slight drift on the right stick out of box.

My of controller is still doing well for like 4 years now or more, but another controller went bad on the left stick a few months in and then another drifted a month in, sall these frim Walmart I believe.I haven’t bought any ds4s anymore and was hoping the dualsense were better....

I once ordered a DS4 from Amazon, and can say that there’s a 75% chance of getting a Chinese fake version that has been wrecking Sony’s reputation online. I went out and bought the same one from a Best Buy shop to compare the two, and there was a noticeable difference in worksmanship, and packaging if I looked closely…
