I use Rush ‘n Attack in the same way, good stuff.

Ideal comfort game... interesting question. Most of what would fall into that category for me would be on the NES and SNES. The original Zelda, Link to the Past, and Link’s Awakening. Metroid, Metroid 2, Super Metroid, and Zero Mission. Super Dodgeball. Mega Man 1-3. Final Fantasy 6. Chrono Trigger Toe Jam & Earl. I…
To be fair, “have me divorce Neil Gaiman” was one of the rewards available on her Patreon.
WARNING: SUPER-OBVIOUS JOKE FOLLOWS
Why? Well, obviously because he’s a film actor and we understand that movies are pretend. But also because we see him break character! From time to time, we get to see him being who he actually is - a kind and decent human being.
He then becomes an actual filmmaker (using the digital camera that came, rather inexplicably, with the jacket)
I don’t even need to argue your main point, your implication that Weird Al isn’t hilarious invalidates any opinions you have on humor AND music. That dude has been consistently making funny songs for longer than you or I have been alive.
I thought Satanic Panic was a much better, well, Satanic panic horror semi-comedy. This one was alright. It certainly gets more fun after the big reveal. Johnson is pretty wooden as the most sympathetic of the guys, though kudos to him for embracing that hairstyle. I think the very end makes no sense whatsoever…
It’s not really anything like a superhero show or comic. Even if it did, at first, have superheros in it. But it barely had them.
I sent you TV announcements, stampedes on toilet paper, and refrigerator trucks to be used as morgues. What more do I have to send you?!
Pfft, as if there are non-evil balls of twine.
Good luck knocking Youtube off its throne!
Kefka is gonna build a monument to non-existence and he’s gonna make the Espers pay for it!
I’m sure part of it is nostalgia, but VI really feels like a timeless masterpiece to me. The tech is old, but the opera scene is still sensational, the characters are still incredibly written, Ultros the awesome octopus is still hysterical and Kefka is still a perfect villain.
Bonus points for going for a deep cut with SOCIETY. Definitely not the horror movie I’d expect to see spoofed here, and therefore my favorite of the bunch.

I remember the Nougat wars. Melted bodies everywhere, people stuck together in a greyish brown mash, you could feel it coating your skin, no matter how much you cleaned. Then those Chocolate bastards came, nuts to that I said, and fled back to the Duchy, but soon we were enveloped too. The Empire had swallowed us all,…
If we’re not talking about Air Force One, we’re not talking about presidents under siege.
It’s a shame that Cynthia Rothrock has been somewhat forgotten; Rarely mentioned in martial arts conversations with the Van Dammes, and Segals and *never* mentioned in the kick-ass female convos with Sigourney and Linda Hamilton (even though her movies were in that same era). Her skills totally blew me away
Heroic Trio should have made the list. It’s cheesy but great and has three female co-leads.
