And once again those of us Gen Xers are caught in the crossfire, shrugging and lamenting the fact that Thurston Moore cheated on Kim Gordon and broke up Sonic Youth even if, like most of us, their best years were behind them.

Remember when white people acted an ass over dipping sauce, all because an alcoholic cartoon character told them it was good?
HOLY SHIT, Bob Babalan directed that?! I vaguely remember that movie from some random HBO showings as a kid, but that’s pretty mindblowing that movie came from that guy in particular.
When I go to my grave recounting the proudest moments of my life, one of them will be setting that up for you.

“It dines when you recline...s”
“Killer Sofa”? Not “Slay-Z-Boy”?
The joke about Patty urging Selma to ditch Kang as a Sagittarius (“I’m from Sagittarius,” Kang responds) almost but not-quite redeems the parade of sci-fi groaners that Kodos pitches to Patty
Another fan of PoD here, I saw that in theaters with my dad when I was about 10 and it freaked me the hell out. I re-watched it about five years ago and forgot how horrifying that final scene is where the protagonist falls through the mirror and reaches back to try and escape...
Prince of Darkness is so gooooooood! Same creepy synth score and some sci-fi elements added into the end really did it for me.
Such a fantastic movie. The sheer paranoia and just a lack of obvious hints as to what’s going to happen next made this movie. I’m not normally a fan of major gore or body horror, but this did it right.
No, that’s Dollar Bill, who was shot in the face at point-blank range when his cape snagged in the revolving door.
On the other hand, Lawnmower Man was a shitty movie that had nothing to do with the shitty short story it took its name from.
I grew up with this shit since the days of fucking 56K dial-up, but sure, you quote urbandictionary at me like it’s a legit source compared to actual lifelong experience
I miss Usenet, too, but we have to accept that it’s been used this way for over fifteen years now. We’re past the point where we can make troll mean the same thing as back in the mid-nineties.
Condorman? Anyone? *crickets*
So now we’re shitting on people for reaching the right conclusion but not being super aware of world events in their 20's. Just wanna be clear on this. That’s our new bar. You suck if you didn’t know about stuff in your 20's that you should have.
There’s a reasonable disagreement and then there’s being an asshole for no good reason, TTBR, and you’re trending really close to the latter half of that equation.
