It was a shame the Phoenix Consortium basically bled MG Rover dry, MG were pushing out some pretty awesome cars (see ZR etc) that just needed to be updated and brought into the realms of high quality. I genuinely do think that MG could have saved the group. Come on, it's brand recognition. And MG's were awesome. I was

Sure, but it'd probably be the rich kids buying it because they 'care about the environment' and it's the fastest.

Could you not claim speedometer innacurcy? In the UK we get 10% (and then a little bit more for fun.) and anything below that 10% threshold isn't legally enforceable. They can give you a ticket, but if you take the time to appeal then they can't prosecute. It's to try and get revenue basically, because a lot of people

Well... why not? :S

The government will claim they were all on meth, and had drunk 10 bottles of vodka, and snorted 100 grams of cocaine, and also were all doing the speed of sound. Then they'll introduce some kind of speed restrictor for cars, and stop people driving altogether.

It's an odd system, it doesn't properly kill the engine (read turning off ignition etc) as I understand it it kinda puts the engine into suspended animation between spark. Hmm.

We had the GT TDI over here which was a 2.0l. You American?

Or Audi V10 :3

I think VAG should buy Fisker and drop that sweeeeeeet V10 into it.

British, so I don't know NASCAR much but I'd certainly like to see Dale Earnhardt Jr. running number 3. Like a family legacy type thing.

Why? Our Coastguard (UK) is volunteer and they're all bosses haha.

See if they have a DS3Racing for you to test drive? :P

Yeah, mine had a Yaris diesel. Although he was a pretty relaxed kinda guy, so I had a little fun.
