Yur fun!

“The Series’ reference to Plaintiff was intended to recognize her, not disparage her.”
I went from Android (1st gen Tmobile G1 through Samsung S7) to Apple (iphone X through current gen Iphone 13 pro max) and haven’t had any regrets. Iphones just seem more responsive and things “just work”.
Good/bad/dumb I’ve been in the iOS ecosystem for 12ish years. I have an iphone, macbooks, and ipads. I know there are advantages to android but maybe because I’m so used to iOS, I just don’t care to switch. I’ve actually got a fire tablet and samsung android tablet. I don’t actually like using them. Definitely feel…
What’s funny is I’m an iPhone person, fairly dedicated to it, but I swapped out all of Apple’s stuff (mail, maps, safari) for Google’s. There’s literally no reason to have this phone. My work computer is a Mac but it’s not tied to my Apple ID, so it’s only synched with my rarely-used MacBook Air.
I still just get mad sometimes about Bobby Flay standing on the cutting board.
You can’t see me, but I’m smiling at this news while taking a big bite out of a completely intact bell pepper.
I’ll be the lone dissenting voice: depending on the context it can be fair game to bring up that the other person has treated you the same way you’re treating them.
I’m of two minds. On the one doxxing is bad and people do have the right to be forgotten.
That one flew right over your head, didn’t it? I guess “Senior Manager in charge of Understanding Context” is not your title?
Me writing this post: “People aren’t ACTUALLY going to show up in the comments saying they’re proud to be racist jerks”
Go ahead, keep explaining
I use MSG a lot. I know many people who swear they’re allergic to it, but I do think most of it’s in their head. I’ve had friends telling me the evil of MSG while sprinkling Accent into their stew. And most seem to feel the effects only after eating Chinese food. I don’t know, I grew up in a culture/place where MSG is…
Context matters. Nuts haven’t had nearly a century of bad press due to a single racist article in a medical journal.
Their money market still gets 1.5% (was 2% when it opened it a few years back).
Probably because there has never been a good scientific study that has showed any deleterious effects whatsoever even though many very good scientific studies have been done looking for them.
And if some people eat tree nuts or shellfish they go into severe anaphylaxis, but that doesn’t mean people are going to stop recommending them as ingredients.
Highly YMMV, though. Our grocery store puts almost everything we eat on sale about once every 2-4 weeks. So for us it’s not about the sale items, it’s just about the timing.
Big congratulations to io9 on being 12 years old today. The website was given an herb for its 11th year but I have hope that io9 will be around for many more birthdays.
After watching Free Solo, then seeing him on bunch of stuff on Red Bull TV, I was struck by how much looser he can be. Like, this is fun:
