The cheerleaders will now be referred to as “broads” as an expression of honor and respect.
Oh man with those genes their kids are going to be so good at hockey
Did I miss the part where Kavanaugh accepted his shittiness in a real, unequivocal way and acknowledge the people he’s hurt? Because as far as he can tell, he’s still lying and obfuscating.
Thanks for writing this.
I’ve rewatched the video so many times and the movement on the ball makes no sense at all.
There’s a WikiHow for that! It’s controllable, but it’s hard to pull off (Cristiano Ronaldo and Roberto Carlos are skilled free kick takers but both have fairly low conversion rates).
Why are we talking about a midtable club and its manager who was sacked from his last 2 jobs when we could be talking about the wicked free kick from a loanee from the club at the top of the league table?
I don’t understand why Pogba doesn’t appreciate Mourinho’s proven tactic of creating controversies to ease the pressure on players.

Oh man, if only Adama Traore knew how to pass or shoot
Thanks for this response, and I should point out that the teams I support most are: the college I attended, a soccer team that’s 5 time zones away in a city I’ve never visited and an NFL team that started playing in 1996, and the last 3 sporting events I attended were for Washington Spirit, which didn’t exist before…
At least other big city teams (well, Yankees, Mets and Dodgers) have sizable minority working class fan bases. But yeah, going to Nationals Park, you’d never guess that anyone lives east of Anacostia River/in PG County.
But the Eagles are 85 years old — fathers have passed on their fanaticism to their children and grandchildren. I mean, I can see how people can choose to get into a team as adults, but that’s no way to show authenticity in DC, especially when baseball in this city has zero appeal to the working class.
There’s a difference between rooting for the local team (I moved to DC in 2012 and I root for the Nationals in the rare moments I care about the baseball standings!) and choosing to become fanatical.
This is a fair point (disclosure: I have a Nats hat and have been to several games at the park).
