Not everyone. In fact, most EVs (by model enumeration) are FWD. Even the new, longer-range, 2WD, Polestar 2, is FWD. The upcoming Nissan Ariya will be primarily FWD, with a small rear motor for AWD.

I’m just happy that electric cars are giving us RWD back. The transition to FWD for ICE vehicles was obvious and necessary, but I really miss being able to kick the tail out on any old family car.
