Jeez, AV Club keeps pushing the "Pizzagate is fake" narrative.
Methinks thou doth protest too much…

Two anonymous commentators squashing a beef??? I love this! The future of the internet! Much love to you two!!!

Amazing analysis! Truly!

"insanely dramatic horns blaring over the dialogue"
LOL, I know, right?
It totally made me laugh a couple times.

It's SUCH a banger! I've had that one on repeat, almost non-stop the last couple days.

"with a diverse enough cast that everyone can theoretically find someone to identify with"
~When I watched this, I thought, "two teachers are going to be the protagonists of the show. That's pretty cool!"

Yeah, after reading this article I thought, "isn't Flaming Carrot Comics the true id of comic books?"
When I was a kid I bought an issue at my first trip to a real comic shop, I think based on the Ninja Turtles mentioning it in one of the mirage issues, which I had picked up reprints of in a Waldenbooks.

Nice breakdown of why Clueless matters! Well done!

It's smart and funny, and holds up really well without being dated, yet it gives us a nice window into our youth. The 90s didn't seem like the best at the time, but looking back from 2015, it was a golden age of pop culture and music culture, with many classics that we didn't realize were classics at the time.
Clueless

Season 1 was legitimately good. Comic-book-style-powered-characters hadn't really been done that way, that realistically before. It was new, refreshing, maybe genuinely groundbreaking, at that time…

People forget that season 2 had some good momentum before the writer's strike derailed it. When it came back, that momentum was gone and Heroes went downhill. I didn't really hate watch it. There was still some good stuff in season 2 and 3.

Where are we supposed to go to discuss the new episodes?

Off and on I've been watching the "Your Month of Zen" streaming Daily Show event at Comedy Central dot com. Basically, pre-Indecision 2000, the Daily Show isn't very good. It is very much a late-90s basic cable show, with little political humor, if any.

And, holy smack what a GREAT hour of television that was—acting, directing, writing. That just blew me away and made me see Mike as a star of the show, just as much as Saul is. Saul was in that episode only a little bit, but his small part was just enough.

Replied to that one, good sir!

I don't know about Assowize, but for me, it seems a little more natural, a little less contrived. (Breaking Bad e.g.: He's a meth dealer, but his brother-in-law is a DEA agent!)
