I'll get back to you on this when I return to my laptop. You'll need to select a film to drop.

Acid is bad for your teeth, so bases must be good for them! That's why my dentist tells me to drink bleach!

I think nowadays you can break down the usage into two sub-stereotypes along generational lines. I was using 'white people' in the sense of 'white millennials', and when people talk about or want to invoke the second group they invoke baby boomers. The image my mind conjures of a generic 30-y/o white person is

I can't believe you did this joke instead of me.

White people will buy anything if it's part of the 'wellness lifestyle'. Just pick a technology and a health fad and go nuts. It's a [Bluetooth] [hydration monitor]! Why not try a [Yik-Yak-integrated] [atheleisure outfit]? Get ready for [homeopathic suppositories] delivered by [predator drone]!

I can certainly relate to just appreciating the delivery, since I wasn't even born until halfway through the show's run. But I have found that many of the 70s and 80s things referenced that I don't necessarily get are recognized by my parents as part of the general cultural fabric they grew up in though, including

But who will Trump throw into the White House Reactor Shaft to redeem himself before his death? Bannon? Pence? Dick Cheney?

That one happened in about half the time, too. But there were a lot more of us back then and we were consciously aiming for 100k on October 19th…. which then got pushed back.

The most surprising part of that stat to me is how little sugar Krispy Kremes have. I would've guess way more than 11g per. That's less than is in a banana! Maybe you can be a power ranger and still eat glazed donuts.

~60 grams? That just seems excessive. That's three Cadbury creme eggs worth of sugar.

It's literally impossible to predict a four-way race with a spread of only 5 points between 1st and 4th. She has as much chance of making it to the runoff as anyone else I suppose.

MST3K:TR is definitely settling into a better rhythm as the season goes on. Avalanche and The Beast of Hollow Mountain were both quite good, without too much of the manic quality that hampered Cry Wilderness. And Starcrash is so bonkers that the riffing almost took a backseat to just enjoying the lunacy of the film

As far as I know Bill Mitchell hasn't really done anything bad, he's just a cheerleader for awful people. But in a really guileless, almost puppy-dog like way. He's like a weird little dog that's owned by skinheads and the only trick they taught it is to Heil Hitler, and it pees everywhere. But you can't really hate

Michael B. Jordan and Michael Shannon are starring as Montag and Beatty in HBO's Fahrenheit 451. My interest has gone from 'I did not know this was a project' to 'high' very quickly.

He has a cloak!

They're just following Bannon's lead.

After decades of sexual harassment all it takes is a mass boycott from image-conscious corporate monoliths to remove an unrepentant piece of shit from prime time! The system works!

Marvel released the track listing for Awesome Mix Vol. 2. I don't really know music so without being able to look them up on. YouTube right now it's pretty meaningless to me. But I do know that they should've included "Come Sail Away" on account of it's about space aliens.

48% (and 49.5% total for Dem candidates) is a much easier lift than even 46%. And apparently the Republican who will be competing is not well-liked and might have trouble retaining all the R votes. Two months is a long time to gin up turnout on the right though. Best not to be optimistic.
