No question! Just think it’s interesting to use the “yeah but wins” argument on a guy who, without him, his team would be flat out awful. Westbrook’s carried a roster with no business in the playoffs to a playoff berth.

What I don’t understand about the “but wins” argument is, Westbrook’s team is considerably better than you’d guess after a look at their roster. Like sure Houston has more wins, but the “but wins” argument is usually used against guys who put up huge numbers on shitty teams that are out of contention, not guys that…
I can’t support the further extrapolation and defense of this comment being taken literally, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t get one of those “I’m going straight to hell” belly laughs out of it.
Would it make people feel better if, rather than saying “Westbrook is averaging a triple double this year,” they framed it as, “He’s the scoring leader along with double digit assists and rebounds”?
Part of it is that rain often is accompanied by lightning and these guys are holding three foot long sticks of solid metal.
In case you missed it, Sanders’ support was based on policy; Hillary’s was based on it being “her time”.
She wasn’t shittier than Trump. She just wasn’t good enough to beat him either.
I assume if that was actually the main point you wouldn’t have said the call “cost Gonzaga the game” like 50 times in these threads.
Lord knows there was no fleece pulled over the Clinton supporters’ eyes here!
As a man I would’ve absolutely loved to vote for a smart, strong woman with the interests of all Americans in mind. We didn’t nominate one unfortunately.
Why, if you think the system’s broken, do you ascribe a nobility to insisting on sticking to it?
And we’re stuck with them partially because when someone steps out of the two party system, they’re accosted by the people that realistically should support them for not “waiting their turn” in a broken system.
I’m sure this, as with most things, is somebody else’s fault. Lord knows you couldn’t have played a part in it, and under no circumstance is Hillary Clinton to blame.
Yes, because here in America we’ve decided it’s rational to vote on the letter in front of someone’s name instead of their policy positions.
He didn’t run as an independent mostly because it would’ve guaranteed a Trump victory.
Or, in the case of Hillary Clinton, expected regardless because it’s your turn.
I came here to say: it was far too deep into that article when it was mentioned that the name Larry Website is pseudonymous.
You surely can - in a different game.
It’s almost like Nintendo isn’t as worried as you are about graphics and processing, and instead wanted to make a great game that is super fun to play and also plays into the nostalgia many have for the series.
