Lewis spent the entire weekend turning into 2020 Vettel, with his car not being a contender seemingly ruining his motivation and a young teammate with recent backmarker experience getting much stronger results. This will be an interesting storyline to follow.

Plus, that $1M isn’t for just him. Add a significant other, Jos, a trainer, a manager, a few friends...

Pleeze don’t hate me, but I remember a story of Clint Bowyer, Nascar Cup driver...yeah, he’s a so-called country guy, getting a phone call:” Can you come and drive our race car?”. “Sure. I’ll be there in an hour. “. Hops into his jet that he pilots. Yep. Shows up and climbs into the race car and does great. These guys

Now “led” by a madman more psychotic that Stalin.”

Actually these floating obscenities

I used to do work like this. we had a guy at the docks that would call when a container ship full of TV/VCR combos would come in, he would tell me what truck and what highway it was on

Oh I agree. Just throwing ideas out.

“No, I don’t feel sorry but I can understand of course that it can be very painful. But at the end of the day, that’s racing as well. You have to just keep fighting until the end and you know in racing that anything can happen. And he also won a championship like that, so I think he can understand that as well.”

Max

Max finished 1st in Wins (10)... 1st in Pole Positions (10)... 1st in Podiums (18)... tied for 1st in Fastest Lap (6)... 1st in Total Laps Led (652)... and finally 1st in Points. I would say Max earned this Championship and if Lewis had won it I would call That unfair.

Mercedes has been dominant for years, they’ve benefitted from bad calls too. They’re coming off like sore losers that are doing their best to not appear that way.

Hamilton and Wolff ALWAYS play the humble/sad route. No matter what. They always act like the sky is falling after every little transgression. I am tired of it; it’s all just posturing.

I thought Lewis showed a ton of class after the race. But to skip the awards ceremony is a bit immature in comparison. I don’t really care if he comes back or not. He’s a great driver and arguable has the best equipment. That may be changing in short order though

Quick little thought experiment where we swap Silverstone and Abu Dhabi. Lets imagine they were still tied for points going into Silverstone, and that pass that took out Verstappen still happened. Would it just be a 10s penalty, or would it have been much worse because more was at stake? That logic was applied at the

The saltiness of the British fandom is going to be enough to create a new Dead Sea in the English Channel.

There’s a trade off, higher voltages require better insulation, it’s also much more dangerous to the meat sacks holding the cord. This is why house voltages are kept down well below 1000V, to make them (relatively) safer and so the insulation required doesn’t make the cables unwieldy.

800V chargers are harder and more expensive to integrate into the grid, for one. That’s one reason why Tesla can build their Supercharger network more quickly than any competitor. Their 400V chargers cost about half as much to install as an Electrify America 800V one, and are more reliable and quicker to build. In-car

Ok that makes sense. Thanks,i didnt see that part of the discussion
