The saltiness of the British fandom is going to be enough to create a new Dead Sea in the English Channel.

There’s a trade off, higher voltages require better insulation, it’s also much more dangerous to the meat sacks holding the cord. This is why house voltages are kept down well below 1000V, to make them (relatively) safer and so the insulation required doesn’t make the cables unwieldy.

800V chargers are harder and more expensive to integrate into the grid, for one. That’s one reason why Tesla can build their Supercharger network more quickly than any competitor. Their 400V chargers cost about half as much to install as an Electrify America 800V one, and are more reliable and quicker to build. In-car

Ok that makes sense. Thanks,i didnt see that part of the discussion

For those wondering how -100F is a relevant temperature to a submarine:

Surface temperature in the Artic can be below -100 F in the dead of winter. Submarines on the surface in the Artic during winter can experience temperatures -75 F. So testing for tolerance at 100 F is what could be called best practice.

Exactly, she was fighting to Stop the Steel Conspiracy. There are 100% all-natural, gluten free, homeopathic paints that will ensure these steel plates are stronger than ever. And by the way, steel is strong metal — whoever says it can break is *lying* to you!

The one Crocket drove in the last season or two of Miami Vice was white, so this example is valid.

Through a combination of coincidence and unconscious choice, every car I’ve ever purchased for myself has been a variation on BR Green. This would not be an exception.

the business of adding known deadly toxins like lead to an already dangerous product like gasoline would take a special kind of amorality and disregard for human life and the environment.

The overarching issue for all of those listed, particularly things like asbestos and leaded gasoline is that they were known to be harmful, in some cases, decades before they were finally banned. There were reports as early as the 19th century making connections between abnormal lung diseases and asbestos mine

Just being pedantic here. Benzene is carcinogenic, toluene (methylbenzene) is not carcinogenic. Where I work, we use quite a bit of toluene but no benzene because of the danger of it.

Opinion from Scott Mansell, an actual British racer who knows the track, was that Hamilton was at fault and understeered into Max.

Not the same thing. Schumacher’s crash was with intent, whereas this one was just stupidity.

Even Damon himself said in the pits after the race it was a racing incident and that he would have done the same thing to Michael if the roles were reversed.

As a champion, Lewis is learning from Schum

yes, very appropriate. from a driver that sadly died on the track and the commentator mentioning all the accidents he is causing. how many RedBulls has Hamilton punted off now, 3 in the last 3 years.
