As with my other reply in this sub-thread: your point actually further supports my take that Group B and current WRC cars have very little in common.

Which is even more reason to argue that there are very few similarities between current WRC spec cars and the ol’ Group B.

Current WRC is, if I looked it up correctly, 1175 kg empty weight for a car and some 380'ish horsepower. Before, it was 340'ish for 1200 kg dry weight.
