Sorry Jason...

Pagina Tavarish, paging Tavarish!

Did he? Indy normally isn’t on my radar (watched because of Alonso) so I wouldn’t know how that worked out in Phoenix.

This IS surprise really. There was a Russian driver on the starting grid, Mikhail Aleshin, and he didn’t unduely influence the race result. WTF?

Reading this about Kimi, I decided to re-read Sam Smith’s piece The Ants Are Still Dead at Wired.com. You all should do that too, just as a reminder...

VeraCrypt? Yes!

This is probably posted already.

I have heard the analog used here that shooting with this vintage camera is comparable to driving a vintage sports car. I think that’s actually an excellent analogy. The thing is, what we are seeing here is the finished product of his vintage equipment. The photos you see here are the equivalent of a spreadsheet of

Ack! Typo which I can’t correct anymore. OOPS.

My, erhmmm how do I put this? My lens... Yes, my lens is now fully extented!

Jason, you need to extend this nice data set with curb weight.

Nahh, technically not true. If you dismantle a device, you take it apart into its constituent pieces. You take off the covers. You take out the fuses, you detach the wires, you remove the shaped explosive lenses and so on.

Many many years ago I played Half-Life on a PC with an Aureal A3D 2.0 soundcard. The card’s main trick was wavetracing: it would recieve 3D game data (game world, position of sound sources) with which it would calculate reverb and echo from all surfaces in the 3D world.

Repaved surface (better grip, less bumpy), corner-cutting-friendlier curbs, stuff like that enable quicker lap times even though the track lay-out and length remain the same.

Technically it isn’t an explosion, but we’ll let that... slide :)

As mentioned above, there is prolific use of the word “kut”. It is a part of the female reproductive anatomy.

David, you and your Jeep deserve a special emblem:

Ars Technica had a really nice write-up about it.

To be fair, in general you can ruin things by doing nothing.

The effect will not be very big though. The compulsory voting stopped in 1970, so to be of voting age then (21 at that time) means you’d be at least 68.
