"I - like 79% of consumers - choose to reject Kinect"
This is the definition of a bigot.. and you strongly dislike the idea of a Kinected console- so, yeah:
Your friend saying "hey what game are you playing" should not get you killed.
Maybe I'll wait on it then and get Wolfenstein first.
1) Interesting, but I don't live near traffic where road work would do that. Honestly for ME even if there were roadwork outside and then *they* heard that it and reacted would still be cool to see it.
I didn't say you were an intern. I said your workload was like an interns. There is a difference.
I didn't say you were, I said your workload was kind of like one. There is a difference.
How do you know I'm a small child? I could be a large child.. or a small adult. In either of those cases I would find that remark insulting.
OK, thanks. My main concern is that it's too much like GTA with other parts not as well utilized. Does it get old changing traffic lights to cause havoc after a while for example? I'm kind of on the fence about that.
Sure, I understand what you are saying now. I was just saying that it does use at least some of what the cloud promises in a game now. I understand what you mean by not having the full potential of what they said the cloud would be used for yet. I guess we'll just have to wait and see how that pans out.
Thank you.. you are now confirmed to be an idiot troll with no credentials. Citing credentials would in no way harm you, it - if anything would discredit what I've said. The problem for you is that I've backed up what I've said with links to articles where you have done nothing but spout off.
Funny, you still didn't cite anything notable from anywhere or anyone notable. I have no idea who you are. I could have been at that conference too. You don't see me pushing that on this topic. As far as I know, identifying yourself would not break any NDA. Everything else you've said is meaningless without that…
You asked how the Cloud was.. you didn't specify 'as microsoft presented them in 2013'. All I stated was that it works fine with the AI in Forza because it's actually using the cloud service to capture player habits as they drive and then use that as a model for behavior with their in game driver. And yes, Drive-atar…
Clearly you can't read..
Is it that bad? I was looking forward to picking it up after I've finished some of my other games.
Cloud is good, it's used in every Forza race on single player. If you played it you'd see how different racing against cloud opponents are vs baked AI. I'd site other things like - no lag and instant matches.. but that's more to the credit of their servers which isn't exactly the cloud, just the infrastructure of it.
The monthly 'patches' add features. they also put fixes out on a non-monthly timeframe when needed. Every month so far they've done more than just patch. I mean, come on - give them some credit
Clearly, you have no idea what you're talking about. They've actually sped up the system since launch and giving developers the choice of disabling Kinect while in their game will break the holy "1080p" issue.. not to mention the DX12 update coming (but that's still too far off to count).
programatically while playing a game that doesn't use it.. yes - it should be a paperweight. There are games that do use it for added depth though.. for instance, Dead Rising 3 uses it to let the hordes know when you are making noise.. and they come towards you if they hear you. Forza uses it for head tracking while…
