Totally hyped for this. It looks like they're finally giving the series the attention it deserves in the west. 2013 is shaping up to be the best freaking year EVER with both this and Ni no Kuni.

*clap clap clap*
I'm sad to see you go. You're one of the people where I actually sought out your threads because they were usually a discussion I found worth contributing to.
As dear to my heart as the Mana series is, even I admit that it's dead. Kaput. Cannot be revived.
I dunno. I don't think it's always bad to add vocals. I love Dragon Song, probably because it takes the most repetitive track from Secret of Mana and not only makes it not feel so repetitive, but gives it a few simple lines of lyrics that I feel kind of capture that sense of wonderment I felt while playing the game…
I was actually completely unaware the PSP was doing badly until all of a sudden publishers abruptly stopped releasing PSP games stateside almost en masse. Then I was pissed because they weren't even *letting* me give them money.
"Butwearefriends, socomeongetgoing!"
*siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh*
And Nintendo has now blatantly copied one of the companies that copied their SNES controller layout (minus the sticks and extra buttons). It has now gone full circle.
Always know where your towel is. Mine's on the back of my chair. :D
But that IS a beta invite. I don't see what the problem is. ;)
37"! That must be amazing for playing retro consoles on, and I don't mean that as an insult. That's the one thing I don't like about HDTVs: SD consoles look like absolute shit on them. But the reverse works for some games on 360 or PS3 as well. There are pros and cons to both, really.
You're not, really. Which means I kinda spoiled that juuuust enough to warn you, but it's possible to get that as your third ending if you aren't careful, and having to start from scratch just to get the ending you missed would destroy any motivation to get that missing ending in any number of people.
If you decide to aim for getting all the endings, a word of warning. One of the alternate endings will delete ALL your save files for the game. I won't go into more detail than that, just either make sure you do that one last, and/or it might be a good idea to keep some backup saves handy stored somewhere off-system.…
Oh man, Nier was one of my biggest surprises that year. I bought it when it first came out because it seemed interesting, but I expected it to be terrible. I was pleasantly surprised. Now it's one of my favorite games published by Square in recent memory. Unfortunately Cavia is no more...
Indeed, I do love the game, as it's the most enjoyable JRPG I've played in a long while. But when a game starts taking too long to complete, it begins to take its toll and my enjoyment of the game eventually begins to deteriorate.
Gonna finish up Xenoblade. I almost did today but I got unlucky and failed on the last boss on a single attempt that nearly took a whole freaking hour. It seems like a good challenge at lv 79 but damned if I'm going to waste nearly an hour per attempt. I'm a full grown adult with a full-time job, I don't have time for…
I love voice acting in JRPGs. When the voice acting WORKS, that is.
I am officially green with envy.
