In all honesty, I never got the hang of the battles even by the time a I BEAT the damn thing. Every time I thought I had, the next boss would prove me wrong. Seriously, Resonance of Fate is the only time Tri-Ace has ever let me down, mainly because they made the battle system so freaking ridiculous for me to figure

Finally, a reason to regularly comment on Kotaku.

If this never makes it over here, then Nintendo of America is officially completely blind. It's from the creator of Final Fantasy! There's your selling point right freaking there.

I knew something was fishy when Namco Bandai of all companies announced it for Early 2012 when they already had another text and dialogue heavy JRPG, Tales of Graces f, to release within the same time period.

Atrocious? Tierkreis was pretty close to that description, yes. But it's not a numbered Suikoden, either.

Dear Konami:

I just finished it about an hour ago, and I can honestly say this is the best Zelda I've played in a long while. It has its flaws, but despite those flaws I still had the most fun with a Zelda game since Wind Waker.

I'm sorry, but World of Mana is dead. Secret of Mana is my favorite RPG of all time, but there will never be another proper sequel. The best sequel never even made it to the west, even though practically everything else Square has ever made has had any number of remakes, and those did get english releases.

White Knight Chronicles II.

I do not hate Call of Duty. In fact I've never played a Call of Duty game, so I cannot fairly judge the series. I have however played first person shooters before, and I just cannot enjoy them like so many others do. I don't *hate* them, they're just generally not my cup of tea. There just doesn't seem to be much plot

Now playing

It's not Zelda, but as he was a gamer in the same era as me who may have also played Final Fantasy Adventure (Mystic Quest in Europe) as a kid, it seemed appropriate. This orchestrated version of Final Fantasy Adventure's title theme from Dawn of Mana has always been really moving for me.

Dammit, you beat me to it. :D

Actually I have. It's just been a little over a year since I played through it, and I had forgotten.

@TheolaRegulus: Save your money then, because Spirit Tracks has another one of those dungeons you are repeatedly forced to trudge through. :/

I'm almost done with the game. I will be beating it tomorrow in fact. And I can safely say this:

@Gambit09: Level has little to do with things in Resonance of Fate. It's all about knowing EVERYTHING there is to know about the game's ridiculusly crazy complex battle system.

@Maxis47: I fixed that problem by ordered a few longer USB A to mini-B 5pin cables from monoprice.com. You can get up to 15ft cables for less than $3 each. Not including shipping, anyway, which could be a problem if you don't live in the US.

@TKrames: Bunch of bids cancelled as fake.

I will buy TWO. One to play, and one to keep sealed. I've only been waiting FOREVER on this. Now if only they'd confirm Vesperia PS3 after using the logo on the teaser site earlier.

This. THIS is the Kirby game I was expecting at last year's E3 as Reggie was introducing it. Then the game footage to Epic Yarn came up and I was like "What in god's name is this? What have you done to Kirby?"
