Another reboot?! Wow, just give it up already, folks. My condolences to Matt Smith, though. I think I would have liked to see more of him as Skynet. That might very well be ‘cause I liked him in Doctor Who, tbh.

Enjoyed this episode, probably one of the best of this season. Loved the sfx, especially in the final scene. But why are they suddenly making Future Speed Force Girl creepy?

I came (to Amazon Prime). I saw (all the pretty flashing lights). I conquered (any lingering regret at not having seen Valerian and All the Pretty Flashing Lights in the theater).
When I first saw trailers for Pacific Rim, I thought to myself, “Wow, that’s going to be a stupid movie.” I’d laugh derisively whenever I heard that line: “We are cancelin’ the apocalypse!” And then last year I watched it for the very first time—It is a stupid movie and I loved every minute of it. Lol. I am in for Paci…
Wasn’t he in a movie playing James Dean? I haven’t seen it, but I heard he’s good in it—along with Robert Pattinson, if I’m not mistaken.
Right. He was in the first one. I heard he’s coming back to the franchise.
Um, isn’t Men in Black a Marvel comic? Technically, he’d still be making Marvel movies if he stars in this, wouldn’t he?
Is it just me, or did Cayden James use the wrong word when he talked about the funds he took from the city in his final scene with Oliver? He said “embezzeled” when I’m pretty sure he should have said “extorted” instead. I guess I’m being pedantic, but it kind of stuck out to me as a glaring error for experienced…
I’m gonna brag on myself now and say that I thought she might be pregnant from the shot of her in the bathtub in the first trailer.
I understand where you’re coming from. For years, I’ve been dissatisfied with what I perceive as Apple’s tyranny. It seemed to me that I was paying more for a name and an aesthetic than I was for quality, especially when my nearly $800 phone started deleting my contacts (among other things) after less than four years…
Okay. Thanks for the reply. I’ll try that next time it happens.
Lol. I thought the same thing, but I still believe the journey will be worth the price of admission (to see Black Panther).
I don’t even watch Legends of Tomorrow for the most part, but Martin’s death and the grief of his family (including Jax) and friends had me tearing up like nobody’s business. It still blows me away that the CW does feels as well as it does.
That.Was.Awesome.
I think he zapped her or something, but I don’t know why his arm didn’t fall off—or even if he had some zapping mechanism, I don’t know how it wouldn’t have been compromised by Frost’s powers. And it seemed like his arm was frozen one second and then ice-free the next. Didn’t make any sense to me. Oh well.
I feel the exact same way about shrinking Iris—totally out of character. I mentioned in another comment how Iris handled Cisco trying to protect her from the zombie metahuman zombie in Season 1: “No, you get behind me!” I mean she’s the one who finished off Savitar, for crying out loud! Now she’s squeaking, “What are…
On last week’s episode of The Flash, Barry said his ‘Spidey senses were tingling’. I think it’s cool. I like that pop culture exists in the Arrowverse, as opposed to movies and films in which the characters are blisteringly ignorant of how to act or how to avoid acting in a given situation. I stopped watching Timeless…
It’s probably just me, but I disliked the scene with Iris and Felicity sneaking around STAR Labs. I watch The Flash more than anything else, and Iris just seemed a little too scaredy cat. This is the same character who told Cisco, “No, you get behind me” when they were confronted with a zombie metahuman and then…
I believe the idea is that they already had strong feelings for each other even when they weren’t together, so they didn’t need long to make up their minds. In season 1, when the second Mardon brother shows up, Iris admits she has feelings for Barry. In Season 2, Iris is the one to tell Barry she’s been thinking about…
