Thanks! Did you catch which roles Will, Mike, Dustin and Lucas fill? I know Mike said El was their mage.

You said what now? Mike the best-looking one of the gang? Hmmm.

The way Billy interacted with Steve in the showers made me suspicious, but (spoiler alert) the show doesn’t take Billy in that direction.

Spoiler: Thankfully, it won’t.

Having never played the game these roles are from, I don’t recognize their significance, and Will said who was who so fast I didn’t catch it. Who’s who (in the context of Stranger Things) and what are their “responsibilities”? Anyone care to explain?

I was on the fence about Bob at first, but I warmed to him. He is good with Joyce (and the boys), if a bit goofy. He is earnest. But it’s true; I couldn’t see him and Joyce lasting, not with the very first episode identifying Joyce and Hopper as Mom and Pop. Joyce and Hopper share a history (beyond Will’s abduction

The accusation that the era is “completely alien to its creators” doesn’t stick, based on what the Duffer brothers say on the after show. Given how you feel about Stranger Things 2, you probably won’t want to watch Beyond Stranger Things, but if you did, you would see how much of the show’s content is informed by the

I kind of liked that... I can’t finish this comment until I figure out how to hide spoilers on Kinja. Lol

It looked like Jonathan was bored, but Will was laughing.

My favorite bit in this episode was Dustin’s puffed chest at being called “presumptuous” and then, seeing Lucas’ reaction, his desperation to find out whether that was a good thing or a bad thing. Laughed out loud.

Binged the whole “sequel” (and part of the behind-the-scenes show) last night, so I will try to be careful to use spoiler tags, but I just wanted to say how weird it was that Dr. Owens didn’t seem to take Will’s episodes seriously, labeling them symptoms of PTSD instead. When he did that, I thought he must not be in

I dunno. I like a good disaster flick now and then, but many of the more recent ones—including The Core, The Day After Tomorrow, and the terrible 2012—don’t seem to get it right. I wanted to see San Andreas and caught part of it on a movie channel—boy, am I glad I didn’t pay money for that schlock. And every single

Woohoo!

Yes, Wally. You can do two things: run fast and speak Japanese. Make that three: you are very good at showboating.

“I can do things!”

I didn’t catch that Barry was speaking bits of dialog from past episodes, but when he was speaking all that “nonsense” it reminded me of the way the TARDIS (in female form) was speaking in “The Doctor’s Wife”. At least when she was first put into that human (?) body, she was responding to (or participating in)

Is there a Coming Distractions section of the site or is that feature gone? As for What’s On Tonight, is there going to be an easily accessible link to that section at any point in the near future? (Every time I want to go to the “What’s On Tonight” page, I have to use a link that was part of a reply to me on the

I think I get it: Apocalypse was a major letdown, whereas the bar for Suicide Squad had already been set so low that it didn’t hurt as much when people saw how terrible it turned out.

True, I haven’t seen Spawn. I did mention that Suicide Squad was probably the worst of those I have seen. :)

What didn’t you like about Apocalypse? I didn’t love it, but I didn’t hate it either. Now, Suicide Squad? I hated that garbage (and this despite my general love of most things Will Smith—so sue me :) .
