Not technically the same thing. The people in Bangladesh know there are other people on Earth and, for the most part, would welcome relief aid. An advanced culture interfering in the affairs of a less advanced one is another matter entirely. Before we lived in a global village, indigenous Earth cultures met with more

Except the Doctor isn't quite so much of a jerk—most of the time.

I hated that Martha was gaga over the Doctor. I'd have loved it if she could have been more like her successor, Donna, who had absolutely no romantic interest in the Doctor whatsoever. She wouldn't have had to have been as funny Donna, but a different take as a capable assistant would have been nice—which is what she

I've loved Doctors 9-11. It's taking me quite a while to warm up to 12. That's probably because I've had access to fewer episodes. Just Season 8 until the new season starts and Amazon puts Season 9 up on their Prime Video selection.

Did Matt Smith get that? I think people loved him from the beginning, no?

The Tenth Doctor spent 80% of his first episode playing possum, which is probably the most rest David Tennant got until he stopped playing the Doctor.

John Cena. The End.

I think the whole story line with The Silence implied that plenty of people did view the Doctor as dangerous and "the bad guy" and he sort of proved it by how he reacted when The Silence kidnapped Amy. Not just "bad" but so overconfident that The Silence fooled him with the same trick twice.

"Much like we were hundreds of years ago" is what the Vulcans were constantly telling humans. So it seems like everybody is all arrogant up in Star Trek.

Yes to Sophie O!

I think you mean "(Insert name here) is the Doctor." :)

I guess I'm one of the few people who did not enjoy this movie. I rented it recently thinking that, based on all the accolades and rave reviews it received, it had to be good. I also thought that an adventure flick without fistfights, shootouts or explosions every five minutes would be a refreshing change.

I saw the trailer and could tell right away this would be smarmy, saccharine nonsense, but, boy, is Sam Claflin yummy! I'd be perfectly happy if he wanted to brood or smile sardonically in my immediate vicinity.

I think we have to agree that this review should be taken with a grain of salt as it made absolutely no mention of Stephen Amell playing Casey Jones.

Where's the Newswire about how badly X-Men: Apocalypse and Through the Looking Glass are doing at the box office?

"Canton! Everett! Delaware the Third! Who! Is! He?"

I echo the opinion that Michael Huisman was flat and boring in this. He did not work as a leading man, imo. Lively had more chemistry Anthony Ingruber (who played the younger version of Harrison Ford's character) in the few minutes of screen time she shared with him than she had with Huisman for all of their screen

Too bad. Is there anyone left? Shazam?

No, he didn't kill him. He just knocked him out of his metal state. Then Iris punched him. Then Team Flash put him in the pipeline. When the electricity dude came after Thawne-Wells, Thawne-Wells let Girder out to fight him and buy Team Flash some time.

Perhaps Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow will continue on The Flash's original* timeline of Nora dying, Henry going to jail, Eobard Thawne giving Barry powers five years ahead of schedule, while The Flash itself takes a detour with Barry on the alternate timeline all on his own. By that I mean that he might see news on
