Didn't know where else to post this: After an article about a Slate article about Nielsen ratings was posted on this site, I thought it was weird that the AV Club didn't comment on Fox's decision to throw overnight ratings out of the window. AP reported on Friday that Fox is the first major network that wants to wait

For the record, I like Iris too (don't care who knows it or disagrees) and wholeheartedly echo your "Give the ladies more to work with."

What I mean is, Patty Spivot is on this show because Patty Spivot is in the comic books. I understand having characters in the comics appear in the show, but at least give them something better to do than what the writers have given Patty. I strongly dislike the story arc they've put her on; she's just a place holder,

I know you dislike Iris, but she's not going anywhere. Patty, on the other hand, will be gone by the end of the season. Imo, her appearance, or at least the way the writers are handling it, is pointless, beyond mere fan service.

Fred Savage does such a great job with Stewart's reactions to Dean, like when he realized that Dean would try to fight the ticket and in the courtroom when Dean asked if Stewart would agree that people are what make this country great. Imo, Savage is the MVP.

The free meal will probably come from McDonald's.

So could an extra. Say, that woman in the beginning who had the big, white letters "CSI" on her back?

Hands down best unexpected moment of the episode: Annelise butchering that song and the frightened, horrified, but sweetly supportive looks the house band gave her.

Oh, you mean Jurassic Park? We had that on Earth-1, too.

I think Cisco freaked out about the winged metahuman when he first touched Kendra because he thought it was another bad guy intent on harming someone. Remember that he ran to the lab and asked Caitlin if she had gotten any reports about a winged person involved in criminal activity. He wasn't being weird or idiotic;

I'm kind of on the fence with this episode. Since I don't read the comics, Grodd and, by extension, Gorilla City don't hold the same power for me. I didn't like to see Iris sidelined in favor of—what seemed to me to be—a throwaway appearance from Henry Allen. It seems as if Iris is reconsidering her decision to hide

I'm thinking Patty finds out that Barry is the Flash during the mid-season finale—or thereabouts.

Grodd vs. Zoom

Foolish Grodd. Dead man can't hear you say your name.

Sorry. :(
I guess I need to have more faith in people, huh?

I enjoyed this episode more than I did the previous one (and the previous one much more than I tolerated the first two). The plot holes and cliche beats continue though, from Leslie insisting that she stay up in a helicopter while lightning strikes around her and the pilot wants to land—I think he knows better than

Well, that's a bit of a harsh and unnecessarily snarky response. I'm not asking his character to "worship motherhood", but a little compassion on his part would be nice. I didn't have a problem with his criticism of her writing, which I'm sure was probably earned, but the way he handled her was not kind. The world

Great episode, but I have a couple of objections.

Baller Mateo, FTW!

Yes, there's an app for iPad and it works pretty well. It's how I watch CW shows—because I don't have a TV (or cable). You have to watch commercials, but it's not so bad.
