Agreed about the bailing on The Office because of too many cringe-inducing moments and about this show being better about not going too far.

"Wow! Just like Batman!" LOL!
I once loved the fact that Pixar never told the same story twice, but that went up in smoke with the making of Toy Story 2, which I admit to enjoying. Then came Cars 2, and I didn't even like the first one. But still, I never thought Pixar would stoop to shamelessly milking their characters. I guess that's Disney for…
"Too much is not good"
Didn't mean to downvote you! Sorry! :-(
NCIS is like popcorn—it's not particularly filling, but that salt keeps me coming back. It's not the greatest thing on television, but it's entertaining enough. It's a show I can use as background noise and occasionally yields some yuks. I'm not sure why it seems to be hated here so much or why it seems like a lot of…
I got an extra laugh recalling the scene with Ravi. So thanks for that. :)
I thought the episode was much better than the first two, but I agree that the Superman save was not welcome. The plot holes are also still too large for me to overlook comfortably. For example, Supergirl knew pretty early on that Reactron was just a human wearing a high tech suit. So how come she couldn't put two and…
Much, much better, Supergirl. Was that so hard?
Your point #1: I wondered the exact same thing. A glaring oversight. Companies sometimes have rooms full of tech odds and ends that are outdated or broken. At the very least, the setup could have been a little less high end and latest stuff. If he had grabbed some old monitors—the huge ones—or a busted new one that…
To echo a lot of the other folks here, the last part of this episode greatly elevated the first. Still, I disliked more things about this episode than I liked. I did not like the idea to use Linda Park; it was dangerously stupid. Shame on you, Iris, for promoting it! I agreed with Joe that going after Zoom so soon was…
Really? Yes, we knew Linda-1 would be facing off against Barry and that it would be a fake fight, but that part of the promo where Linda-1 is face to face with Zoom made me wonder whether or not she would survive the episode and what the fallout from that might be.
Just a theory, but possibly the writers don't want to have to say "Eobard Thawne" or "Reverse Flash" every time last season's villain is referenced. If the characters just said "Thawne" there might be confusion about which Thawne they mean.
Shame on you, Joshua, for making me think this was not worth my time. I watched the pilot and enjoyed it, as well as the successive episodes. It's not high drama, but it didn't annoy or insult me as this review suggested it would. I use the term "review" loosely. It reminded me of New York Times articles that stop…
Welp, since I am now a confirmed West-Allen shipper, I see no reason to refrain from saying this: Eddie stood in the way of Barry and Iris getting together, so at some point he had to go. (I'm not saying I disliked him, just that he had to be removed as an obstacle to that relationship.) The same is true of Patty,…
I was fairly certain something like this would happen when I posted my comment, but, sure, whatever floats your boat. :)
Oh, you're not. I'm really bad with names, but if you look at the comments by a person whose screen name starts with "bat," you will see that she is fully invested as well.
Also, you'll recall that Sand Demon did not kill his Earth-1 counterpart, but he was more than willing to make an attempt on the Flash's life, again, in order to get back to Earth-2.
The only problem with your theory is that there is no evidence that Sand Demon sought out his counterpart and/or tried to kill him. It would have been pretty easy, given that his Earth-1 counterpart walked off-screen mere moments before he walked on-screen, knocked Joe out and kidnapped Patty.
I guess I am. :)
