The Gaza Ministry of Health’s stats on civilian death in Gaza have been corroborated after previous conflicts, and found to be relatively accurate. Check the stats and reporting for “Operation Protective Edge”, you’ll see that’s the case. Just because Hamas runs the government in Gaza doesn’t mean this particular

If it helps with the cognitive dissonance, police unions are not real unions ;)

Sometimes these games are on sale, in a bundle, etc.

It depends on how much these sort of systemic changes matter to you. For me the character progression and feel of melee combat were huge detractions, so for me it would actually feel pretty dang different overall.

Disagree.

I think the idea is that for this type of game (big AAA Japanese action RPG) you don’t really expect to be able to do something like that. It’s small yeah, but it could be an indication of the philosophy behind the design that is exciting or refreshing.

I just don’t think it’s that big of a deal honestly.

I find it kind of endearing, humanizing even.

I feel like that’s a bit harsh.

Hell yeah, Reach will always be one of my favorite FPS games. Pretty much a perfect package.

Oh no, oh god, I can hear it so clearly xD

The mod probably just changes it so that if you choose the masculine body type then it always uses he/him, something like that.

You read my mind

Gotcha, thanks for the explanation

Yeah, honestly I’ll just save the money and play through the anniversary edition of Skyrim. Still haven’t done a barbarian build, that will be fun.

And that will not trigger a long rest in the sense that quests won’t progress, e.g. the grove?

Hm...how do you rest at camp but not have it be a long rest?

Thankfully it’s not footsteps that are bothering me, those are fine. It’s literally the “coin-jingling” sound effect that’s so grating which as you say may not be captured well by youtube.

In-game, to me it sounds/feels like that scene from Ace Ventura 2 where he’s scraping the utensils against the plate to torture

I wish that’s all it sounded like to me, and not a wind-chime from hell, lol...

Definitely a possibility. That nails-on-a-chalkboard scratchy “tinkling” sound when Jill moves in that video is very clear to me, but my husband basically can’t hear it at all.

Now playing

It genuinely might be a thing where not everyone can hear it, or certain people are more sensitive to it than others; it’s a pretty high-pitched noise. It gives me a headache, so unfortunately I can’t really play until it’s fixed :\
