Oh yeah? Like what? Care to elaborate? :-D
Oh yeah? Like what? Care to elaborate? :-D
It’s just sad, man.
I will never understand the point of cheating in a competitive game. What are you getting out of that? You haven’t accomplished anything. You’re just ruining the game for everyone else. Do you really feel good about yourself that you need to pay $100 a month to cheat at a game everyone else is playing straight…
If the shift boot is so easily and cheaply fixed, it makes you wonder why the owner hasn’t done that already. The car presents well otherwise. Why cheap out in that area? Odd.
And sometimes when people are driving around, doing illegal shit, they don’t HAVE any license plates. It happens around here all the time. Either they put up fake temp tags, remove them altogether or the vehicle is just plain stolen.
Came to post this very link!
I don’t remember what the problem was. Something was leaking. It required pulling the entire engine and then the part was on back order. What was supposed to be a quick in and out check up appointment resulted in me driving loaner cars all summer and then an apparently unfixable problem that had me sell my car back…
Or, like in the cast of my 2019 Forester with like 40,000 miles on it, they pull the engine out to replace the power steering pump and then end up breaking it beyond the point of repair and then have to buy it back from me. Man I love dealerships.
It would also be great if they were more obvious. You can see a gas station sign from a mile away on an interstate. Finding a charger is like going on a scavenger hunt in the back of some shady parking lots and then when you get there it may or may not work.
I knew about it. I fail to see how that makes this kind of exorbitant fee make any sense. Even $300 is too much. I’ve never lived in a state with such ridiculous fees. If other states can charge $75, for example... why are YOU paying $300?
Yes, they do go to more than just the train. But the train tax alone is what caused our fees to go up ten fold. You’re proposing adding... what? Another couple hundred dollars on to that? Your average person has trouble just paying rent around here. I see tons of expired license plates every day. Cost of living…
Our registration fees already go to pay for a train from Seattle to Portland that likely won’t be completed in my lifetime. And they’re based on MSRP of your car. So it went from may $80-$100 a year for registration to... who knows? We’re paying $900-$1000 for our cars. It’s outrageous enough already. I think the…
I live in Washington and we are a two EV household. A state that claims to care about green energy sure is quick to stick it to EV owners. Since we don’t pay gas tax, they tack an extra couple of hundred dollars on to our annual registration fee. My wife just had to renew her Ioniq 5 and it was nearly $900. That’s…
Same. Usually they just tell you “tough shit”, even when the delay is their fault.
... I mean, it certainly doesn’t help that the government abruptly dropped the sizable tax credit for the majority of available EVs. That’s certainly going to sting a bit. Funny how the government absolutely drags its feet on most things unless it’s taking money AWAY from people. Boy then they can’t sign the papers…
My wife and I stopped attending Dragon*Con in Atlanta back in 2012 because it started looking like this. I’ve heard it’s only gotten worse. No con will ever cap ticket sales because nobody forces them to. And people keep going, so they’re going to keep doing this.
I remember a few years ago when I bought my first 4K Blu Ray player, I brought several boxes of DVDs and Blu Rays in to work and was giving them away after I had upgraded a large portion of my collection. Some of my younger colleagues were like “Psshh. Who even buys movies anymore? I just stream everything.” That…
Sure, but nobody is forcing you to buy a Blu Ray of Crater. But if someone DID want that, it’s not an option anymore because the public has decided streaming everything is the way to go. So now anybody who wants to watch Crater or anything else is at the mercy of whoever owns the streaming rights to it who can,…
You know who else has “little stake in the future”? Politicians in their 60's, 70's and 80's. And yet...
