As a New Jersey native, I’ve never understood the point of gas attendants.  I’ve lived in other states for most of my life and it would always bug me when I would come back and visit family and stop at a gas station only to sit and wait for someone to come around and do something literally any driver is capable of

I feel like them putting a gun to their heads and pulling the trigger was probably something they could have pulled out of there.  It’s just not a good visual.

Might want to swap that picture out.  Kids aren’t stealing EV6s with a USB cable.  That trick only works on turnkey ignition cars, which the EV6 obviously is not.

it’s not uncommon to hear someone driving 50+ miles a day. Those kinds of distances won’t work for EVs, especially if you’re in heavy traffic”

I don’t like the big, slow weapon stances in any game.  My preference is the blaster stance.  But I’m guessing some of these percentages have to do with game completion more than anything.  I mean, of COURSE the first two stances you use are the most popular.

They 100% are. We use ours as our daily drivers and we both have lengthy commutes every day. So it’s nice to just be able to plug in at home at the end of the day and not worry about stopping for gas. Plus, the $100 extra on our electric bill every two months is a lot better than the $120 a week I was spending to fuel

I’ve got all of my PS3, 4 and 5 boxes in my attic and they will stay there until they disintegrate, thank you very much!

I guess. He seemed genuinely curious about my car, though. He wasn’t like “Oh, enjoy your HIPPIE MOBILE! I’ve got my F-350 that I coal roll liberals with!” So while there are probably people hearing that crap from those sources, it’s spreading to people who maybe are just tangentially related to those people.

I don’t

I say this as someone who is in a two EV household personally: they’re too expensive, they’re too hard to get, people seem to want 400 miles of range before they’re comfortable, the charging infrastructure in the U.S. is a joke (even here in Washington where we have a pretty decent EV adoption rate) and basic consumer

The exact, perfect size for being useless!  Right in that sweet spot.

The door opening inwards would make an emergency evacuation a fucking nightmare.  No plane doors open inwards.  No emergency doors anywhere open inwards.

Oh my god, you poor victim!  You must be so oppressed!  Why can’t someone, SOMEWHERE stand up for hateful bigots without being given shit about it?!

Not according to the article...

Or finding a charging station that WORKS... or finding a charging station where some jerkoff hasn’t parked his gas car in the charging stalls...

I have a 70 mile round trip daily commute myself and my car’s range is on the lower end (I have a Kia EV6 GT. I think it’s around 205 miles at 100% charge, but I never charge mine past 80% which equates to about 135 miles). I have no issues making that commute with plenty left over to run errands or whatever after

Good call.  Would have worked perfectly.

I learned to drive in 1994, driving my mom’s 1988 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. Then a couple of years later, my sister attempted to teach me how to drive stick in her 1991 Geo Storm. Yeah, that didn’t go so well! It was more like her yelling at me and explaining very little. I eventually did learn stick. But it wasn’t

Seriously.  Would be nice if people would stop being oblivious to the world around them and maybe notice that several cars are stopped, a man is out walking around and think “Huh.  That’s strange.  Perhaps I should SLOW DOWN and see what’s going on!”  But nope.

Right, but I’m talking about our specific situation. You were asking how someone is spending that much a week on gas and I’m telling you that our scenario, while atypical, is entirely possible. I work in Seattle but I live in Tacoma because, like a lot of people who work in Seattle, would rather own a home in Tacoma

I have a 70 mile round trip commute five days a week. Before I bought my EV6, I was spending about $120 a week on gas for my V6 Tacoma. My wife had a WRX and she was spending a similar amount for a slightly shorter, less frequent commute but with premium gas. We installed a home charger and for two months, it only
