Far Cry games are good just mindless pick up and play fun. Especially the co-op. They’re big, sprawling adventures. But they’re done in chunks. So it’s not like you have to sit down and play for like two hours before you get to have any fun with it.

As far as I know. I want to say I started noticing it all the way back in Far Cry 4.
Yeah! You can buddy up for the whole damn game. You can go anywhere on the map with a co-op partner. It’s really fun.
Basically, the Far Cry approach. I’ve always found going into that world with a buddy and just causing chaos or taking out outposts to be really fun and it felt natural in that setting.
It looks like a Micro Machine. Or like when two images on Google Maps get smooshed together.
Exactly. I’ve tried Cyberpunk on PS5 with ray tracing on at 30 fps and then off at 60 and I would never trade frame rate for the comparatively minor upgrade the ray tracing makes. And that’s a particularly wet and reflective game in general. So I expected to be really wowed by it. But it was just like “OK, what’s…
I was not. But now that you say it, that makes perfect sense.
Yeah, I remember playing these in my initial run through the game.
Perhaps I missed something, but is there a specific narrative element that states Shepherd is a woman? I notice people keep chiming in with this correction. Or is this just personal preference? I always played a male Shepherd, but I never really cared how anybody played their game. I mean... it gives you a choice...
If you have $50,000 to just turn over to a madman, then you clearly make too much money.
I’m not a huge fan of the way they implemented folders this time. I preferred the PS4 way. But that’s a minor complaint.
I... don’t get that. At all. It’s immediately noticeable. It’s more obvious than 4K or HDR, which take some time of comparing and contrasting to really become obvious. Frame rate is like... immediate.
We all did this as kids back in the day.
I hate when I put a disc in for a game that has two versions and even though I’ve deleted the PS4 version of Cyberpunk like 50 times, it still pops up right next to the PS5 version I’m actually trying to play. You can delete it AGAIN. But the second you fire your console up, it will magically reappear. It’s…
Sony completely fucked the way they handle games that have multiple versions. But like... did you not notice your game isn’t running at 60 fps? Because the PS5 version of Destiny 2 runs at 60 and the PS4 version doesn’t (that I remember). So you should know within two seconds which version you’re playing.
What irritates me about all of that is... I already own those games digitally. I have a ton of PS1 classics already purchased on my account. They sit on my Vita yet I can’t play them on my PS5? Why on Earth? Why do I have stream everything? I don’t want to stream games. I want to download and play the ones I…
Yes.
I have one. It is NOT an SUV. It’s a hatchback.
I played the PS4 version on PS5 when it launched and I had a lot of fun with it. I’m now on my second playthrough on the PS5 version of it and man... it’s a beautiful game on PS5. Enjoy! It runs and looks great! Still some bugs in it, though.
