i had a mom that would freak out at me as a little kid all the time for many similar reasons. i feel bad for the children of these people and hope they can learn to get along with their children, because (i assume) they had them voluntarily and children are people too.

i've watched the sketch. she picks a female character who gets raped and the military authorities in the game try to silence her. i get what the sketch aims to do, but it is neither appropriate nor funny. none of her stuff is funny though.

i think this is kind of a microcosm of the 'anti-bullying' movement. it places the responsibility of acting in a civilized way toward one another squarely on the shoulders of children, not parents or teachers. i think a campaign directed at adults would be highly more effective. we seem to be sending pretty shitty…
