I think it'd be easy to criticize the school but, in fairness, I think we all remember that bit in the bible when Jesus, dying on the cross, says "One last thing before I go, remember to be complete and total dicks to innocent little kids whenever you have the chance. Peace out, losers."

Sunnie's grandparents didn't like that very much, so they proactively took her out of school and put her in public school.

I say this with all the love I have for this family (read: lots and lots), but look at her sister, her mom, and her grandma. This is not disdain for a family vacation. This is hereditary RBF.

Seriously. Whether she did it or not, I can't tell. But having that type of serious abuse evidence, waiving your right to a jury trial, and NOT presenting it is absolutely insufficient assistance of counsel. Any 2L law student would know that is completely incompetent lawyering.

You're entitled to your opinion, I guess, but how is that in any way relevant to whether you should treat them kindly and with respect? Unless you're just incapable of interacting politely with ugly, funny-lookin', disabled, super-tall, super-skinny or otherwise unique-looking people, which I highly doubt?

It's not really a problem with the algorithm that caused that comment to rise to the top. It happened because people are responding to the troll, so that comment has generated by far the greatest amount of discussion. Though of course, I'm not denying that nuKinja sucks in other ways.

I just love that with NuKinja the ONLY comment up in "Highlights" is a troll...who is also the "Host" since the author hasn't engaged (yet?).

I wish Ms. Scot the best, and I don't envy her for a heartbeat. Here is hoping her employers treat her with the respect she deserves.
