I said as much to Jim Lee, who responded. He felt it would be worth wading through the submissions from people who misinterpreted the context.

Women = 51% of the population. Where did this pervasive notion that women are some sort of minority come from?

Captain Marvel is pretty good about battle gear styling - her new costume was designed specifically to mimic a military style. Carol was in the air force, so it's supposed to remind you of that.

Yep. I was just giving Jez the benefit of the doubt, because I actually encountered a gay person just this week who had never heard of these studies about siblings influencing the sexual orientation of their youngers, so I figured maybe not everyone has heard this one.

Not entirely; the theories are testing the chemical bath younger siblings take when they're percolating in the womb in the leftover hormones of older siblings.

To be fair, the article itself is rather light on the actual science. It's not just Jezebel.

Given that Rucka left for basically the same reasons and has sworn never to go back to DC, this is pretty unlikely. He's probably at home chuckling right now, or calling Williams to sympathize.

I'm one of those canceling my DC subscriptions - most immediately, but Batwoman up until issue 26 - the last one by Williams & Blackman.

Not to mention that the second O is larger than the first, but it's not quite noticeable that reason for that is that the whole logo is supposed to be taller on the ends than in the middle, like a bow-tie.

Milton's work stands up to it. Snyder not so much.

Well, he did collaborate with a gay singer for the song - Mary Lambert is the (lovely!) female voice you hear on it, and she is gay. He specifically picked a gay artist.

And I thought it was lovely that he contemplated his own sexuality and found a way to feel solidarity for gay people through that contemplation; that's real empathy. And I did know that some of the money went to charity; it was one of my first questions, so I investigated.

Um, I need to be entering my cat in this contest. She had some seriously long fur on her back legs. I just give her haircuts every now and then to keep her from getting matted, but hey, if there's a world record to be had...

She didn't cover purple bands did she? We could do that, if the rainbow one isn't working.

I asked, but I have been expressly forbidden from posting pictures, despite the fact that they are just adorable. :/

Well I did at home, so...

Yep. We've had that happen.

You can find chain and Toggle clasps like these at craft stores to create a longer version. I've seen them at Michaels on a recent jewelry-making binge.
