I certainly never said that only straight women have kids. I said that lesbians are accused of not being friendly to families - that really does happen, despite the fact that so many lesbians have kids as a part of their families.

You're not saying anything different than what I am - of course lesbians have children and families, and of course they are mothers.

I agree with the first part of #2 - taking care of kids is definitely a gay issue as well as a straight one. The second part of your statement doesn't follow, though.
