You know they will make it as a couple because they can eat in front of each other so comfortably.

Uh, no. One of his personal assistants does that. That way they can also remember to pick up the accoutrement (lube, condoms, folding money for tipping the 'equipment') and have his favourite orgy outfit cleaned and pressed in time for the next understated Bacchanalia.

Every damn time I talk to someone who has been to a club that is wall to wall 10's or some other such event I have the same conversation.

Perhaps this is a little off topic, but:

Where did he think these women were coming from? Has he looked in the mirror—there are not orgies-ful of women clamoring to get some of that, not without monetary compensation.

So, he'll basically get a one year suspended and a relatively paltry fine? I wasn't so up in arms about this story until the part about referring to women as "equipment."

I couldn't help thinking about a friend of mine while I shared this story and took this asshole to task. She actually is a 'rape baby' and feels really shitty about it, and thinks her mom really should have aborted her and is pro choice because of her own existence.

I personally believe all life is amazing. Cancer cells, in particular, are incredible biological constructions with fascinating capability to grow and multiply. Would I say that to someone dying of cancer? No I would not. You know why? Because I'm not an asshole.

"i'm sorry you took my words to mean exactly what I said, and how I meant it. i'm sorry you can't get over the fact that I just don't care about women. i'm sorry you are such doodoo heads that you can't see past my misogynist façade and see that deep down.. I really just don't care about anyone but rich, white men.

Ah yes, ye olde "sorry if you were offended". The most sincerest of apologies.

In other words, he's not sorry for his offensive comments, he's just sorry you don't share his opinions.

"I am sorry that anyone chose to interpret my statements as meaning exactly what I meant"

The 'apology' implies that "regardless of the circumstances" really means "without consideration for the emotional and physical toll on the human required to bring such child into the world and then presumably be wholly responsible for the care and upbringing of such human." So, yeah, notsomuch. Probably should just

I guess we could say it's only fair to have a woman-only Supreme Court for 192 years. Anything more than that and it's unfair.

I cannot WAIT for a day when everyone clamors about how having more than 4 or 5 women on the Supreme Court isn't fair because women only make up about 50% of the general population... and then promptly has to backtrack on why it was OK to have only men on the Supreme Court for decades (centuries actually).

Any teen can have a negative sexual experience with a peer. Someone who manipulated, pressed into it, straight up assaulted. But I think, as adults, we forget how starkly the world is divided for teens between peers and adults. It's a bright, glowing line; teens are on side and adults — particularly those with

i think its bc when a male teacher is sleeping with a female student (high schooler) it is considered by (students or the general younger population) to be really fucking gross & creepy

i dont know if its proper to say that there are more women rapists than people think? like. there are more rapists around us than people think, period.

This is the unfortunate side effect of painting all rapists as unconscionable monsters. Rape is certainly a monstrous thing, but it's committed by regular human beings who are often perfectly normal and personable if you're not a target of theirs.
