I’ve come close to hitting bicyclists twice. Both times, the only reason I didn’t hit them was that I was following the rules of the road. In other words, in both cases the cyclist made an error, but my being careful prevented that error from becoming fatal. As a driver, that’s my responsibility, because I'm the one

Yes, a number of these cartoons are illustrations of racism.

Another problem with the shoot-out scene is that there’s no reason for the Comission agents to appear in a phalanx, rather than just surrounding the Hargreeves.

I’m finding the alternate timeline where Deke is (at least temporarily) director of SHIELD the most fun to speculate about. For example, Garrett is dead, and in the Framework the reason Ward turned out to be a good guy was that Victoria Hand got to him first (although actually I always liked him better as a villain).

Yes. And then the cryptic comments about leaving a piece of herself behind, i.e. a child. I thought it was so obvious that it verged on coy.

Or just don’t do it. I think that’s a valid option.

Their big mistake was letting him monologue for so long. So frustrating.

After the last episode my 14-yo daughter was jumping around saying “My ship is canon! My ship is canon!”

He has that evil Garrett grin down cold.

There was a whole thread of AITA posts about The Philadelphia Story.

I called him Agent Strut-n-Smirk from the very first episode.

They're asking Sousa to take a lot on faith, so I can sympathize with his frustration. He really has no reason to trust him except that they did appear to save his life.

I use it to delete library books I have checked out to read on my Kindle. When the book is “returned” to the library, it’s still listed in the Kindle, even though the book is no longer there. Very annoying.

My comment at the end of the episode: “They’re going to hate it.”

Palo Alto (CA) recently renamed two of its middle schools after a seventh grader did a report and discovered their school was named after a eugenicist.

Crows are already smarter than humans. They can recognize individual humans, but even scientists who work with crows can’t tell one crow from another.

I feel so bad for the guy. Even the thought of having to watch someone do that to my kid makes me shake.

I saw the movie in the theater when it first came out. It was a matinee, so there were lots of kids.

John Scalzi describes “straight, white, male” as being the lowest difficulty setting in the game of life.

Gee, it seems to me that the guy who was going 94 mph is at fault, but what do I know?
